I'd like to compute pivot points for the NQ's. However, since the mini futures contracts only close for 15 minutes each day (4:15pm - 4:30pm I think) Does anyone know how to determine "Yesterdays High, Low and Close for the NQ's? I assume the pivot supports and resistance formulas are the same for the NQ's as they are for a stock. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks
Actually they are numerous ways of calculating pivot levels, who knows which one is "correct". Some people use the 09:30 - 4:00 H/L others use the H/L of "all sessions". From what I've read I'd suggest the latter for the futures.
NQ Pivots are no different than ES pivots. It is an industry standard to use RTH "Regular trading hours". 9:30 AM ET - 4:15PM to calculate Pivot levels.
