well, pete ... I'm happy to attempt to do both ... your question ... what does it all mean? is, on the surface, a bit overwhelming ... lol here is a site I monitor some http://www.swingcharts.com/ and there are various websites, as the ones mentioned a few posts ago from Wallace I've used them for a very long time, but am always willing to learn new aspects of this old too. .. for that is all it is .. a tool here is another site that I have NOT used, but do know a few that have ... and they profited from it ... http://www.pitchforkprimer.com/ I perused some of ET before I joined and could see that some of the discussions --- ie === Gann's and Elliot Wave were quite detailed and intricate with exchanges between posters that were great ... hey .. I use forks ...and, time given, will "help" someone to use them, too ... and, as you say, Pete .. by teaching, one learns also here is a fork I drew this morning for a cyberspace friend on another forum .... for the QQQ it showed a starting place for a shortie position on Mar 5 and supporting downward forks of a lesser time frame than the original hourly chart basis
BLUE down fork is still defining movement while shorter term PINK was close to test on the bottom ealier and a price try on the upper tine before the day is over as the mid tine BLUE might not contain the advance well, the chart didn"t attach so i'll try again in a bit
for some reason my trying to attach the chart in the manner I did the two precceding time has failed .... some forums operate differently, as the preview pane on some show the chart that is to be sent, other forums do not otherwise, I'd not have sent the previous post when it did not show up in the preview.... I went to the FeedBack Forum here on ET and asked for directions/help/opinion anyone here have any ... the file from my HD isn't corrupted, as I sent it in a couple of emails and it viewed fine .. it was saved as a gif, and I used the Browse button according to the directions on FAQ, just as I'd done on the two preceeding charts .. any ideas?
nkhoi .. I gather from your posted charts that you're using QC. has the data feed gotten any better than when I quit them back last year ... got so bad that I had to simply shut down .. of course, it did coincide with some family responsibilities that also necessitated my putting the trading on the back burner... also , the way I see it both your forks are broken, no? and I still can NOT figure why I can't attach one ... sheeesh were you a poster over on jimsy's forum? your nick is very familiar..... and, what is the broad vertical yellow strip in your charts?
I was unable to log on all day yesterday so it did not not improve as far as reliability concern. yes if the picture size is too big it won't let you post yes it just high lighter to call attention to the fact that it was repeled at the yellow fork. edit: qchart fork drawing tool is gold standard, I have never seen any better fork and customer service is not bad, check this out
Here's the "Trigger Line Sell Setup" applied to today's NQ. This setup can be found in the NQoos link I posted earlier in this thread.
