PIt traded futures brokerage

Discussion in 'Financial Futures' started by capitalMan, Jan 13, 2004.

  1. Can someone recommend a futures brokerage for pit traded futures. I know there are Man and Refco but I am looking for competitive rates, can someone tell me what are cheapest rates around?

I saw the same question on a thread a few days ago and someone said 5perside. You may want to read the thread as velocity futures said they can do pit traded as well on that thread.

  3. but TRadeStation might have good rates giving up trades

through an outside broker for their customers ...

might mean you get ripped on your orders as opposed to

    the brokers you mentioned

  4. I used to use Lind Waldock. I had nothing but good experience. They are now part of Refco (I believe), but still run as an independent subsidiary.

the phone staff was good (even in the middle of the night) and they caught a few beginner mistakes i made at the time.

  5. thanks for the comments

is it possible to find below 10 bucks from a bigger firm without volume quotas?

  6. I've tried 5perside - ostensibly they can do this, but the service was crapola. My first trade took three days for confirmation and several calls to Chi-town just to get the trade placed. That ended up being my last and only trade w/ them.
