so the BOX and some hypothetical OUTSIDE to it are the keys.. there is sth to learn everyday .. would you call avoiding cognitive biases as thinking 'outside the box' ? if so, you still wouldn't be that special..
Yeah, that's what I already do. I probably should have called this thread pinkmans price action journal, but price action a part of technical analysis, so...
Made another 5.25 ES points. Called the trade live in the ESJOURNAL. Leaves me +$2265 for the day. A few good days tomorrow and the next day, and it could be another positive week, despite Monday and Tuesdays bloodbath!!!
2 small losers and a smallish winner so far. Break-even or so. Need a few winning days here to make it a second winning week in a row.
PM, Just something to ponder If this were my PNL - Iâd be concerned Not that I lost⦠or even lost over 2 consecutive days (though admittedly Iâd look hard into this last one and figure out why) ========================= But I would be very concerned my losses were over double one day to the next Individual losing trades - no biggie - successive losers that ultimately make up a losing day - why Losses that are over double day over day (or even trade over trade) - why This needs fixed Erratic risk control/ management imo Sir (our job 1 is risk management) RN
Hi. Well all I can say is i'm trying my best! lol. I've reduced my size on CL to just one contract at the moment as it moves around pretty quick. That accounted for the particularly bad losing day, as I wasn't consistent with my trading size. But as for losses: The market is not predictable to us retail traders, and sometimes you'll get bad luck, like I had on Tuesday, where every trade stopped me out, again and again and again. I don't believe people here who claim to never had losing days etc. (unless of course they live call all of their trades like I have some of mine) If you can fill me in on a method that would win everyday, I'm all ears! All I have for now is charts. I don't know how to guarantee winning days
You're missing my point get over not having losing trades some trades will lose - period keep the damn things small keep the damn things equal otherwise you are trading erratic / implementing erratic risk management RN
