ping IB server

what is your ping speed to IB server? How do i do this ping testing? Is that all data feed and order through the same server?

 

USA server = 208.245.107.3
european server CH = 212.243.80.1

i am sitting in italy, ping USA = 130
ping CH = around 40

as what as i know, the data stream comes always freom US servers, the orders are send to the server you had choosen (here european server)

how about hong kong server? IB mentioned they have 3 servers and one in Hong Kong.

 

I don't think this is the same server/ip as the TWS.

yep. you don't have to call IB. the data server you connected to is in your log file
