Oh for god's sake, people keep re-inventing the wheel. That's actually an "upthrust bar" (or "shakeout" on a low), documented by Richard D. Wyckoff literally a hundred yrs ago. And before that in Candlesticks from the 16th century it's called a Gravestone Doji or a Dragonfly Doji or sometimes just a Hammer. "Pin Bar", sheesh... Harold
