  2. I love it. Piers saying what I and most other rational people are thinking about these gun-nut idiots and their stupid "arm everyone" arguments.

Morgan......... "You're an unbelievably stupid man aren't you?"

Yes Piers, he is. Bravo for coming right out and saying it.

That video is an IQ test. Not surprised you failed it. You're one of the biggest idiots on the board.

A furnace installer who spends most of his free time debating on a trading website? Yeah, okay.

  4. Great video. Morgan is such a typical liberal. He argues through insults, labels, trying to intimidate the other guy and talking over him when that fails. Pratt made some good points , and I was impressed the way he kept on the issue and refused to be diverted into a slanging match.

Morgan's only real point was the lower gun death rate in the "civlized world," whatever that means. Sounds very unPC though. The obvious answer is that the civilized parts of the US have an even lower gun death rate. Take out the urban gang banger wars, and gun deaths are very rare.

  5. Look at Britain. Their cities have less gun deaths than our cities. Their suburbs have less gun deaths than our suburbs. The gun death rate is lower in every other wealthy country by a lot. It's not even close.

Well, they certainly do have more terrorist attacks than in the U.S. And more terrorist creating communities.

But, we are not Britan nor are we the British people.

London police recently start ARMED patrols in certain sections of the city, because of gun violence.

Armed police are to carry out routine patrols in London to combat gun carrying drug gangs.

In an unprecedented move for British policing a team of 18 constables armed with sub-machineguns, led by an inspector and two sergeants, will operate permanently in "hotspots" in Brixton, Haringey and Tottenham...

  8. I'd like to see that data. I highly doubt there is a vast difference in the gun murder rates for comparable demographics. Plus, the UK has what we would consider intolerable rates of serious violent crime. In the US, occupied home burglaries are very rare, for obviosu reasons. In the UK, they are commonplace.

Anyway, this is all beside the point. The argument is over mass murders by crazed psychos. I refuse to surrender my rights just because out of 330 million people, there are a couple of crazies who should have been locked up. There are far more effective and focused things we can do, from increased school security to teacher training to letting teachers carry.

    That's it in a nutshell.

More Americans want stricter gun control.
    The majority counts also.
    Remember the election?

And yeah, yeah, yeah, let me repeat it before a few frantic gun nuts get their panties in a wad...I wanted Romney to win for the good of the country; between the two who actually had a statistical chance of winning.

But, on the issue of gun control, I believe we need more gun control.
But, of course, we also need criminal control.
