very nice setup! do you feel neckpain? unless you're 6'5+, you would be looking up towards the monitors at a really awkward angle.
heres a hot trader vixen, part of my set up! LOL ! http://www.vlogolution.com/vlog/channels/HotRoast surfer
Thanks Surdo. I'm running a computer I built myself specs are below. I'm looking to upgrade in the future to most likely a dual processor but for now the computer I have gets the job done. Like the saying goes "if it ain't broke don't fix it" What are you currently using in your setup? Also any pictures. It's nice to see what other traders are using. CPU: AMD XP 2800 Memory: 3 GB Video Cards: 1 AGP BFG Tech. Gforce 4 TI 4600 128 MB 2 PCI PNY FX 5500 128 MB Good Trading Qyu
Thanks for the comments. I'm fine with my setup. 6'5 I'm not. I'm fine though with the way the monitors are mounted and I do understand where you're coming from in regards to the akward monitor positioning. I thought the same at first in regards to comfort when I first setup them up. I haven't had any problems so far though. I'm fine with the way the monitors are setup and don't really experience any discomfort. What are you currently using? It's nice to see pictures of other people's trade stations.
Nothing too impressive to share. One 2.4ghz PC with two 21" DVI monitors connected to a matrox video card. Seperate pc with one 21" DVI monitor to run non-RT analysis, email, etc. Laptop as backup and to take information home. All files, data etc are kept on a server with applications running on local machines "Second Copy 2000" backup/sync software to keep information current between server and laptop I also have a PDA which receives periodic price updates and alerts sent from excel. --------- Now, I have a question. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of the necessary parts to convert a standard desk into a variable height desk so that I can trade sitting down or standing up and have the desktop at a comfortable height?
