Wow, thanks for that comprehensive list of EVERYTHING the US has offered. Oh, and by the way, the Germans were on the verge of having the bomb, the Japanese were working on it, and had we not come up with it, someone else would have. AIDS? Oh, you're one of those conspiracy schizos! Michael Jackson. Well the funny thing is that Europe has for some time loved him more than America, and that continues today. And I hardly got on my high horse to point out the double standards regularly applied to the US! No country has a spotless record, but if the US promotes anything good, those whoa re jealous point out any mistakes the US has made. And again, if the US gets involved in int'l affairs, it is told by many that it should mind its own business. If it minds its own business, then it is cold, indifferent and it should get involved. Not that I know what this has to do with showing pics of trading stations. Oh yah, that's right. Tradestation pics turned into anti-American rants.
Well, I'm fairly convinced. I must admit that the same thought as KuJaX's crossed my mind regarding the difference in photo quality of the first couple of pictures. As you are no doubt aware, there is a lot of envy, anger and frustration seeking expression in these forums. And then there are the poseurs. Therefore, I can't imagine why anyone who values his time would allow himself to be baited and go to such lengths to convince everyone in a crowd that includes such elements. Surely you know that regardless of what you say or do, there will always be someone waiting to shit on your head. Heck, I'm surprised that someone hasn't already claimed that the pictures were taken at night on the weekend and that you're only the custodian. Once some folks have it in for you, there is just no winning. That's what "stop losses" are for, eh?
Thought I would post my setup... To prevent people from saying "that's not real, you're not really using that" (as unfortunately happened to MAESTRO) I have posted a picture of myself in front of the machine, discussing some trading related matter with a colleague. You may wonder why there is no multi-monitor array (in fact, no screens whatsoever). We found that the computer was smart enough to trade better than most humans, and so set it to the "AUTO" option. We then removed the screens and used them for our own desktop computers at the firm - since obviously they work fine for word processing (hedge fund disclosure docs), Excel (adding up daily P/L), etc. We're really happy with the setup and recommend the approach.
