I think I would have preferred it with three single mounts. If the desk were wider I would have gone with a 3x having said that the Ikea desk I'm using has support arms that the monitors have to cut in front of and three single mounts may have allowed them a better angle to place the monitors at...

Thanks I'm gonna give the 3x single mounts a shot.

They seem to have 3 different versions of the single mounts with extended, swiveling arms 5402($22), 6421($24), 7562($39). All have very good reviews and similar specs. Don't know if 7562 is that much better the 5402. I know I'm nitpicking since I was price shopping Ergotrons at like $300 but I'm a minimalist.

I purchase a lot of different items from Monoprice and have to say if for any reason you don't like something they have a great return policy....

This isn't my house. It has a picture similar to the office of the house that I'm currently having built. There will be built-in furniture along the wall where the computer is at (I do have the iMac 27" tho, heh). Thats where my desk will be at.

The floor will be wood and there there will be a window facing the street like in the pic. I'm at the end of a cul-de-sac and I'll have a view of a large pond all the way across to where the street begins! It isn't a big view but its better than the typical suburban view only one or two of your neighbors house every day.

Actually, the room in the pic looks a little deeper and my double doors are more to the right. To the left of the doors in the pic, there should be some wall space.
