i've thought about this (i admit it looks cool) however my principal concern is functionality and stability. trading desks support a lot of weight (monitors plus stands which are so heavy). i'd be too worried about the desk breaking and shattering a thousand pieces of glass on my legs to be followed by the stand and monitors and my hot pockets
For what it is worth, I have a glass coffee table and it is impossible to keep clean, looks good but wish I never bought it (every time you touch it you leave finger prints). EDIT â As far as structural integrity is concern, I could probably stand in the middle of the table and I am pretty confident it wouldnât break (granted I donât plan on testing my theory).
There are two ways to post an image. 1) Right click on an image from the internet and copy the image location. Paste the image location in your post and place the image tags around the address. They look like this: Web address of image you wish to embed[/im] Note: I omitted the (g) in the closing tag here to show you how to do it, if I hadn't the img tag line would not show in the text of this post. Thats it ! 2) To upload an image [b]from your computer[/b] into the post. Post the attached image with whatever you are typing into the text field. [b]After it is posted[/b], go to your post and open the attachment you just posted. Copy the address of the image [b]from the browser bar[/b]. Go back to edit your post. When the post is open for editing paste the address you had just copied from the image into the field of text and place the same image tags around the address, e.g. [img]My glass desk[/im] Note: (g) omitted again from closing tag, to show you how to do it. Then save the edit and the image will appear "embeded" in your post. If you are not sure just go to a post with an image in it. Click on it "as if" you wanted to quote them and look at what they did to attach image. [b]Don't actually quote them[/b] just open it to see how it is done. Very simple, after your first one
