  3. Nope, I got the quippy point. I just thought it was nonsense.

I've clogged up this thread enough. Over and out.

So, Maestro, why are you doing this? You enjoy messing with people's heads?

Yes, very much so! I enjoy the spectrum of reactions exhibited by various physiological characters as they represent overall intellectual profile of the trading public. I find it quite fascinating and intriguing to watch flares of emotions provoked by simple, easy verifiable facts that are unbreakable because they are real. What I received is what I hoped I would get: a wide variety of responses: from jealousy to admiration, from hate to inferiority, from spite to reasonable assessment. Why do I need this? Simple. I want to find gems! Yes, gems: - those individuals who have extraordinary talents and passion. You see, I'm getting old and lately have become quite concerned with the continuation of my work. I need new blood in my company, new creative brains to take what we started in 1996 to a totally new level. Posting a job description typically returns thousands of dull resumes 80% of which are from people who would not even qualify for a genitor position. But what I need is one or two people who are good enough to be a part of our team. And what is a better way to spark something like this? You show what you do, you show who you are, you show where you are going to and you spell out what do you need. I did not post a single word of bullshit, I only honestly answered questions followed by my original picture and I did not "mess around" with your brains: - you did! You created an idea of a fake photograph, you suggested what I should do to prove it, you doubted the concept and ask the questions about it. You suggested that I need "validation" and I need an "ego stroke". I did not suggest any of this. I was polite but firm and provided you with everything you asked for. Some of you who are interested in my publications could PM me and I'll give references, but I don't want to post them here and disclose to everyone who I really am (I don't see any benefits from doing it). I'm sure that this post will add the fuel into this thread, but to me its the last one as I already got what I needed.

P.S. At this time I repeat my invitation to visit our company. As many of you who already made an arrangement (Samson77, etc.) should contact me via PM to schedule your visit.

    Happy trading!

If you truly do operate an up and coming hedge fund, these systems are purely for marketing purposes. The majority of your monitors are worthless. Anyone can setup an alerts that could notify you if something is up in those 20 stocks. No need to have one screen dedicated to each individual option string! It would be a lot more efficient than having some trader whipping his head around to see if anything is up. Not to mention, the highest row of screens is impossible to see from where your seat position is. I have 5 monitors and sometimes I have difficultly seeing if anything is moving on the top 2 monitors already. Also, your traders must have some excellent peripheral vision to be looking at those monitors on the far left and far right.

I dunno how many investors would be dumb enough to think that these screens produce a legitimate edge. I think one would be better off spending money on some killer office space over looking Toronto. I would me more thoroughly impressed.

No offense xbrxx, but why should he (or anyone) give 2 shits about what you think? Its not like he is hiring you.. so your purpose is to convince yourself that he is wrong?

WTF are you talking about? Am I looking for a job? Is this not a open forum? I gave logical critiscism regarding his setup and I get some shit from you?

I said he is ATTEMPTING to attract INVESTORS with all those monitors. So when INVESTORS come visit his place, he'll hope to impress them and have them send him a check. I think that is a poor way of doing so as those monitors do not assist in his traders nor the funds performance in the least bit. Any somewhat intelligent investor would be able to see that.

BTW, is this your attempt to get on Maestro's good side in hopes he'll throw you a bone? Do us all a favor and quit trying to kiss Maestro's ass.
