I think he's responding to every negative post because he has a fragile ego. He is desperate for validation so that it will boost his self-confidence. Quite a few people behave like that around here. (nitro, etc.)
The interesting question here is why is Maestro saying all these things? Why submit a few photos that could have been faked, receive criticism, only to then post photos that proved his setup was real? To what end? Now he does it again. Anyone who says âI wrote 6 books, over 150 scientific papers and received 54 international patentsâ without providing ANY references to those publications ought to understand the strong skepticism he will receive here. I personally know several well-published individuals, some who are traders. None of them would boast on ET like this only to invite skepticism, then repeat the process in some kind of sick game. So Maestro, why are you doing this? You enjoy messing with people's heads?
No. There is a huge difference between seeking validation and arguing for our ideas, as many of us do on ET, and posting grand claims without proof, only to later supply proof, as some kind of test or game. Serious, honest people supply proof when making grand claims. Maestro ought to understand that from his experience writing 150 scientific papers.
Did it ever occur to you that you might be dead wrong on this? nononsense doesn't see a need to throw his weight around concerning his own academic credentials. Talking about "the field", nononsense seriously wonders about this. What is "the field"? In fact, we are dealing here with a very specific field. It's a forum about: "Pictures of your trading stations". As you chose yourself to explain the usefulness of your setup by pointing to BIONICS(sic), nononsense simply pointed to a paper by an MIT professor dealing with the subject. nononsense found this paper very funny, but, as he said, it plainly deals with bionics in trading. From what you have shown us, you don't seem to be up to level yet. Didn't see any bionics whatsoever yet in your setup. Further, nononsense finds the fact that you have to expand your ATS efforts with BIONICS very curious. nononsense's own work in ATS is entirely centered on getting away from human operator intervention. He finds all this highly contradicting. He can trade up to 30 instruments simultaneously and only needs a little screen for supervision of operations. That's what most people around here would call ATS. Your 24+ screen setup runs IMHO counter to the grain of anything touching upon ATS. Whether it has anything to do with BIONICS, I failed to see this. If I ever would need 12+ screens, it would be for killing my time with flight simulator playing like indicated by another poster. nononsense
From your question, it appeared to nononsense that you might have missed this point. Be good, nononsense
