  1. If you had to do it all over again would you go with wide screens? What was the choice to go with standard ratios screens.

I am just thinking with wide screen you could fit the chart with a dome next to it?

  4. Thanks..when I left the IBs and started trading for myself, I decided to have a setup that replicated my setup at the IBs.

I use 8 19 in Acers...4GB RAM, 4 NVIDIAs and it has an Intel i7 processor.

  6. So, you use a single computer for all 8? Most prop firms use two separate PCs; one for charting (usually 4-6 screens) and the other for order entry (typically 2 screens).

Take the picture and get it to your computer (this part's up to you) and save it as one of these file types: gif jpg png doc xls pag txt pdf zip

Come back to the thread => Post a Reply => Browse for your file => add comments=> Submit reply.

As far as actually having a photo show up in your post rather than just a link to your file, I read it somewhere, but can't remember. Never done it.

    Hope this helps.

  10. got this from some other thread a while back.

    1) attatched your pic as you did.
    2) click on your pic to see the picture
    3) copy the ET url of the picture
    4) type this html code

    IMG SRC=the_url_of_your_pic_here

    5) then bracket the above code with "<"at the beginning, then end with ">"
    6) click save change and voila, you are an html coder

    eg. < img src=http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=572967>
(you need to remove the space after the first < for this to work)

Save your images in this forum and then refer to them in your main post if you don't want to
have the link in your message
