Like that "red" mouse! I have interest in that chart on the wall that shows all the different types of fish. I'd like one of those. Cool.
well try this bandit...i just got a ps3 and just found out you can install linux on it,,,,,so if you got a nice 50" screen plasma or lcd tv you could trade from that
lol, that would be pretty sweet. Originally, I was looking to get a 47" LCD and plug up my computer to it for trading. I may still do that if I really want to go big. the problem was to get more screen real estate since the 1080p big screens top out at 1920x1080. you could fit smaller monitors next to it I guess. anyone has a setup like that? use a big screen LCD as the centerpiece in a multi LCD setup? I guess the PS3 is more or less a PC with a souped up game/video processor? pretty cool, then I take it you can run java trading software like IB's TWS? what about charting?
Here's a preview of my new trading station. It's still a work in progress. It would have been done, except I decided to standardize on Dell LCD's. I had the Samsungs on hand, but didn't open them and returned them because I wanted Dell LCD's. The middle one you see is a Dell 30". The side panels are on their way, eta Thursday or Friday.
So bandit77, your setup-in-progress is a Zenview multi-screen display? And how much for the stand - the sale price in ad?
No, I didn't buy from Digital Tigers because they are too expensive. I put it together with the help of StockzTrader's blueprint: http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43661&perpage=6&pagenumber=255 I bought the parts from Froogle and Ebay, and the total with shipping came out to around $800 for all the parts. I was aiming for the arena ultrahd. however, I've found that 22" LCD's are almost same price as 20" LCD's. So I bought the 22's instead. It may not be as neat and tidy on the edges, but I'll have more screen area.
