LCD rule no doubt. With the cost of LCD today, CRTs have no place. $550 for Dell 20" LCD was less than what I paid for a decent 21' CRT 2.5 years ago.
ive been staring at computer screens for 20 years. the LCDs are so much easier on your eyes, they are smaller and the dont throw off the heat of the CRTs. as i approach 50, and cant read the fine print anymore, i would never let my children stare at CRTs.
Mafia, Very nice setup. I noticed that there is a button marked 'EMERGENCY' right above your LCD monitors. What is that for? Does it provide some urgent help when the market starts moving in the wrong direction?
Haha, I was hoping you guys didnt see that button. The button is directly connected to my local hospital in case Mr Market gives me a stroke . Well I did get raped sometimes but have never used that button. Hedgefund, those are Samsung 213T.
My home workstation, used for position analysis and research, as I don't daytrade from home. I find one screen sufficient for such purposes.
For arms, www.ergomart.com carries the entire line of Innovative Office Products: www.lcdarms.com. Ergomart sells a IOP dual vertical mount for $197. If you have more money to burn check out http://www.flatscreenarms.com/. These are the sweetest looking arms I've seen, but they run twice what the IOP arms do. Bob
