Someone brought this cool thread to my attention, which I found helpful as a newbie trying to understand what a trading desk is going to look like and how to configure one with multiple monitors and other bells and whistles. I've gone over the posts/pics and have found it to be helpful to begin setting up my own @home trading desk. Please show more of these as this has helped a newbie like myself begin setting up my own trading station. Thanks!
There is a seperate computer for each system traded, my main screens have one machine, my futures screen one machine, my charting one machine, two monitors. The rest our one machine per monitor, each running a different strategy.
I had to have a stand made to accomidate the 24", I called Moview, they made a few changes and shipped it out with a week or so. They made the arms a little longer, and were reasonably priced.
Thats not really mine .. but its BAD ASS! here is the link to it http://images.google.com/images?q=trading+desk&hl=en
Hello All, Im always browsing others trading desks, just trying to get a feel for a new ideas. A couple months ago I came across personal computer enviroments, and Im really surprised I havent seen any here. BTW, IM NOT AFFILIATED WITH THEM IN ANY WAY NOR HAVE I TRIED ANY OF THERE PRODUCTS, BUT I AM ATTACHING A LINK. If anyone uses one, please, repond and let us know how it is. I think they run just over a grand. They look awsome, and there suppose to be comfortable, but im not sure sitting in that type of ergonically designed position would be comfortable for prolonged periods of time. - secXces http://www.mypce.com/mediapics.shtml
