LOL. Probably from the days when RSI was an edge? (Was it ever? )

Is this the 'Good ol' Days'?

Its amazing how far we have came in the last 25 years. They said the same thing then though!

    Roll on 2031!

Nowt wrong with Ikea desks :)

Spot the piker. Bracket Trader, IB, wireless mouse, diagram of Ross Hooks, mismatched monitors ... sheesh.

  7. Hmmmm... what is on the wall?

    Trading rules, Entry Rules :p

BTW, I used to have a desk almost exactly like that, sucks doesn't it?

    :p

Good thing is, there is no space to put junk on it, where'as mine always has stuff on it.

Strange seeing a left handed set-up, first I think I have ever noticed.

Yeah it does suck, especially when eating dinner off it with the keyboard perched precariously among cups of tea under the monitors, but it has to be small as if I encroach another inch on the sitting room territory my wife is likely to banish my "office" to another room. :) I can gaze out of the window at a leafy park from here, which is a big plus and good for the eyes as it is beneficial to shift focus to somewhere quite far away if staring at screens for prolonged periods.

Diagram is an example of an old 1-2-3 / Ross Hook setup I sometimes use. When I was learning it I could never quite remember the (now ingrained and rather embarassingly obvious) sequence of lower highs etc. that defined them. Still, it serves as a sentimental reminder of the early days and also has IB's phone number and keypad options & a number of other handy scribbles on it.

1 in 10 traders are lefties, not so rare. Perhaps our allegedly slightly different left brain / right brain communication can help sharpen an edge in some way too. :)
