Ye went back to the hospital after his temperature soared to 39 degrees Celsius (about 102 degrees Fahrenheit). Doctors put him on an iv and administered Kaletra, a combination drug used to treat HIV that has shown some success in combating the virus, bringing his temperature down to 37 degrees by the end of the day.

    Virus Confirmed

The young student’s condition was steadily improving when he finally secured one of the coveted test kits on Jan. 29. It confirmed he had the virus that’s triggered travel bans around the world. His doctor gave him a five-day course of the antiviral drug Aluvia and sent him back to his three-bedroom apartment for quarantine, in part because the hospital didn’t have enough beds to accommodate him.

Just cause it works, doesn't mean the government can afford to buy it and use it with maybe 1/2 a BILLION people this year, or that they can make enough.

  5. All of that would make it more expensive, wouldn't it? Making the stock price SOAR?

Only if they buy it, if they release a statement we are buying 1Bil doses from this company then great.

But China, they'll reverse engineer it and mass produce it by themselves, nobody copies everything like the Chinese!

  7. I don't think so. Markets run on anticipation/rumor... "facts" come later, if ever.

  8. Abbvie isn't moving. Use it as a proxy. If it prints a crazy bull-bar... buy the mkt.

Going to need to see great results from a 6 month trial with at least 200 test patients before any regulatory agency will take Kaletra seriously as a treatment for this virus.
