  1. The site owners and the Terms of Service object to mentioning your book or website. You are well of aware of this. Remember? That thing that site sponsors and advertisers pay for, including banner ads? Those who do the proper thing to support this, a commercial site?

But of course, that did not stop you. After all, I am sure you checked with thesite owners first before the self plug...

"Advertisements and solicitations of any kind are strictly prohibited unless you are a paying site sponsor. As a person who does not represent one of our site sponsors, you are not to solicit our members with any type of commercial offer, or advertise your business through your public posts, private messages, profile page, or file attachments"

That book was the some of the best money I spent this year. Posters like yourself, (Spin, DMO, Xflat) with your seasoned, balanced advice is the very reason some people frequent these boards. The book was well written, balanced, realistic...and you do know that VEGA is not a greek letter..That is what clowns like me need to help us succeed.

Congratulations, and thanks again for the book and posting on this board.

    Take care

  5. Congrats Mark... you seem to be a genuine guy who's really interested in helping a lot of traders navigate the options game...

    Kudos to you for that...

  6. You are implying that I can't trade.

Why would you assume that? you don't know me.

I've been a professional options trader since 1977. Couldn't stay in the business that long if I know how to trade and make money.

  8. I do not believe mentioning 'my book' - and leaving out the title is in any way a violation of TOS.

Do you think the site owners would care? Read the post again. Exactly what am I advertising, or soliciting members to do?

In fact, I encourage you to complain to the management and then we can allow them to decide.

    Best regards,
    Mark

  10. Mark,
Ignore the naysayers. You're a credit to the options business, and it's obvious you know how to make money at it. I do many things in a fairly similar way to you and it works just fine. You and I have not always agreed on every detail, but I respect your opinions, and you back them with sound reasoning.

I've enjoyed your blog and recommend it to anyone interested in options, even those who have traded a lot can benefit from it.

    Congratulations.
