Thank you for reiterating the fact that the budget, and the deficits are infact created by congress, i have been trying to teach your lefty buddies this fact throughout this entire thread.

    lol

Quote from freethinker which he deleted just before i could quote it

"Do a little research when was the last time congress spent less then the president suggested"

Nice work deleting this one to try to save your own ass, and once again you made my point for me, the last time congress spent less then the president requested was the republicans in the mid 90's, other then that every single time the dems have controlled both the house and senate they have grossly out spent the amount the president has suggested, and deficits have skyrocketed, and yes both Reagan and Bush share equal responsibility their part in the mess and for not doing anything about it.

you have zero credibility trying to argue democrats are not trying to spend the states to death.

Look what they have done in CA and in cities and states on the east coast.

Democrats are the flesh eat bacteria or MRSA to our financial future.
Republicans are sort of high fructose corn syrup.

    Do you enjoy embarrassing yourself?

up until 95 control of the house/senate was split, Right after 95 republicans took control of both houses and forced Clinton to balance the budget, or else shutdown the government, i already posted the chart a couple times but i may have to post it one more time to show you that the debt to GDP ratio went straight down after 95 when the republicans controlled both houses. And by the way, in order to be fair i will point out the fact that a large part of the reason the deficit went down after the mid 90's was due to the tech bubble it wasnt all due to republicans.

And right after 2007 the budget exploded from 2.7 trillion to 3.6 trillion, tell me something did Bush propose that, or did the dems just spend like drunken sailors?

  8. President Bush on Monday submitted a $3.1-trillion budget for the next

and dont forget bush ran his wars off budget.

The proposal set the stage for a long election-year struggle, drawing sharp criticism from the Democratic majority in Congress as well as a scattering of Republicans concerned about the president's habit of leaving large chunks of the spending out of his annual budget blueprint.

Based on your numbers, Proposed was 3.1, though I was thinking 2.9 based on what i saw from a couple sources. Actual spending ended up being 3.6.

Thanks for confirming what i have been saying the whole time, bush was a big government big spending shit head, and dems were just as bad, and in this case they were worse.
