Performance Analysis Software

I'm looking for a recommendation on trade analysis software that includes things such as sharpe ratio, max draw down etc.

I'm looking to improve my trading and need a more objective way other than (P/L) to analyze performance.

any specific add-ins, also any thoughts on 3rd party apps, such as Hoadley investment tools?

 

Excel is a great suggestion..you would probly want to get a book on VBA instead of buying an add on.

 

There is a plug-in for excel called WebCab XL that may be some help...but from the sounds of it, you are just looking at some very simple formulas that you can do yourself in excel.
