And you are a refreshing intelligent anomaly within the lesser intelligent who populate this forum? A strong (or weak?) thinker ......at least in this specific area where you failed to make these components work?

You're the authority on this subject? because you can't get his ideas to work?

    I see weak (engineering) skills.

  2. I saw the few pumping and dumping merchants and read their opinions , and watch em on t2w , then I realised ..................these vendors don't trade , can't trade and the only money they are making is from books ,course and seminars .

I would not bother even trying , I will let the forum professionals and professional traders on forums trade these fake illusions.

The human brain is not wired to trade this price action .The only reason they have 12,500 threads and systems on forex failures FF forum , is to market the price action courses of James the trading failures on forooms 16.The 12,500 systems don't work , but price action courses is the new holy grail on forums.

Every other forum wanted a James FF pa EDUCATION seller.:D:D:D.You can get it all free on the net.

Of course psychology is more important than technical analysis or many other things. Lots of people disagree with me and say its just mumbo jumbo.

You can get some good reading from any local library or an online subscription to a psychology magazine even if it has nothing to do with the financial markets. Soon there's going to be a new magazine for "Behavior Finance"...I'm looking forward to its release.

Psych is important but without an edge it's useless.

Friends, have you read something from the current literature to improve your trading skills? What could you advise?

Think before saying anything specific. If you must comment then speak very generally. Be thankful for the Al Brooks, Toby Crabel, Mark Brown loose lip types who helped you but don't repeat their mistakes.

My advice is get a real job. It takes a long time and more than what most people can muster in all the area's that are muster's. Programing skills, reverse engineering, creative thinking.

  8. The first skill a trader must have is self awareness and the enemy within ,the first education and skill required for succesful trading is mental skills .All humans have an enemy within us when it comes to trading , so all this Al BROOKS PRICE ACTION MAY BE GOOD , only if there is no enemy within

can they trade trade this holy grail of subjective price action?

My own list of book recommendations is in this post.

(And although it may not be a very popular comment to make in this strange thread, without having studied Al Brooks' books in detail I'm not even sure I'd be making a living at all.)
