Like you voting for a guy who nominated a coal lobbyist at the head of the EPA? Confirmed by a GOP-majority Senate? Not a single Dem-vote for Wheeler. You ppl are fucking delusional and deranged.
Could be closer than we think. https://www.forbes.com/sites/arielc...vys-ufo-fusion-energy-patent/?sh=1e462e0f4733 What Is Behind The U.S. Navy’s ‘UFO’ Fusion Energy Patent? According to the patent application, the miniature device could contain and sustain fusion reactions capable of generating power in the gigawatt (1 billion watts) to terawatt (1 trillion watts) range or more. A large coal plant or mid-size nuclear powered reactor by comparison produces energy in the 1–2 gigawatt range. The revolutionary invention by Dr. Pais, if real, would produce near unlimited clean energy from something no larger than a sports utility vehicle. Dr. Pais’ fusion device is among a handful of outlandish technologies dubbed “The UFO patents” that have, in some shape or form, been pursued by the U.S. Navy. I’ve written before with some skepticism on the implications of Dr. Pais’ purported compact fusion reactor for U.S. energy independence. The physicist appears to have bona fide credentials including a Ph.D. from Case Western, and published some of his work, while much is presumably classified.
Nope. For two reasons. A. All scientists believe that nothing with mass can travel faster than C. B. All scientists know that there is a set amount of energy in the universe. It cannot be created or destroyed, it can be only converted from one form to another. As long as scientists believe that t exists, then there can never be anything other than C in speed, and we are hopelessly stuck on this miserable little planet. And our species will become extinct in a few billion years, when Sol starts dying. Now THAT'S SCIENCE!
You arguments are so binary. How do you trade anything but binary options. You are fucking crazy if you think I was in favor of most of the things Trump did. By the way there is a difference between using fake science to accomplish taxation and wealth distribution to the cronies... and actual policies designed to conserve the environment or make companies pay for the damage they do to the environment so that prices accurately reflect the cost. For instance if you are polluting San Diego Bay and it costs taxpayers 50 million to clean it up. Then you got to sell you product to cheap and price was not a true signal for the allocation of resources.
Got one of these 6 years ago for my lake house. Runs off 1000 gallon propane tank. Starts automatically and switches the whole house over in 20 seconds. Of course now that I have it, I rarely get outages. It does do a 5 minute test run every two weeks to make sure it is ready, though.
You're a climate change denier. There isn't enough time in the day to throw the evidence in your fat fucking face. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...trump-got-it-wrong.310064/page-4#post-4466553
https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/hawaii-to-ban-reef-killing-sunscreen.320804/#post-4650014 this is why fake "agw science" is destructive.... and immoral. it has people wasting time and billions when we could being doing a lot less of that and a lot more useful research. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2017/apr/28/sunscreen-damage-coral-research-oxybenzone In the Caribbean, Downs said, the researchers noticed that bays popular with sunscreen-slathered tourists had dead and sterile coral, while those with little traffic were healthy. “In one there’s just nothing there, it’s a desolate wasteland,” he said. “Two bays over, at a $1,000-a-night resort, where very few people go, there’s lots of coral recruitment, lots of spiny sea urchins.” The scientists argue that this difference shows that climate change alone is not responsible for coral die-offs, and that such cases add to evidence that pollutants created sterile, “zombie” reefs. Downs’ team has also found that oxybenzone has toxic effects on fish larvae and embryos.
