Of course the dems will control, they are handing out cash and benefits. People are only generally aware of the economic death spiral we are in, but they sure don't want anyone to cut them off.
In a 2 party system the 16 % number doesn't matter. All that matters is that one party gets more votes then the other because a 3rd party isn't taking over anytime soon
And Republicans were handing out cash and benefits to big business,wall street,the oil industry and the military industrial complex etc.Funny that Republicans weren't forming tea bag movements while Bush was becoming the biggest presidential spender in history
