Arguing anything with people that don't admit to facts (as in 10 years that have already passed in a 20 year timeline of predictions) isn't very productive as well. I'm not debating climate change, as I've said many times I don't have a position on it because I simply don't know enough about it (something I will freely admit, unlike others who pretend to be experts on every subject under the sun merely because they consider themselves "well read"). But what I do know is that 10 years ago the Pentagon made a prediction to GWB and it was quite absurd, and they're doing it again. That says all I need it to say.
out where I live winters can be quite severe. So we actually like global warming. I'd be wiling to give up a few feet of sea level to make my winters a little more mild.
that's the problem, global warming makes winters more severe, but global cooling will make winters warmer. Warmer winters means less ice for polar bears. I'm willing to suffer a more severe winter due to global warming if it means more ice for polar bears.
I'll assume your idea that global warming makes colder winters needs a little splaining. Hotter summers/colder winters. How is that bad for polar bears?
We've explained it several times. Just search the Climate Change thread. "Polar Vortex" and "Atlantic Conveyor" are starting points.
