Uh oh, tin-foil hat crowd is out in full-force now. ..I was going to correct your misstatements above but its just not worth it, no way to disprove a negative, something that the conspiracy theorists really leverage to the max. Believe what you want, cars that run on water repressed by big oil, alien technology kept secret by the govt, yada yada ya....
I made no reference to "alien technology" or "cars that run on water", but to believe that the government can't keep secrets is just as asinine. And if you're questioning the US government's recruitment of Nazi scientists after WWII, it's all well documented. See Operation Paperclip.
It's true! Elvis was just here with Bigfoot (they flew here in a flying saucer) and they told me that the government reversed engineered everything at Area 51! And The Grays are secretly living amongst us ala Men in Black. MIB is actually a true story (except for the part where TL Jones gets his memory erased). Woah! Is that a ghost right behind you? Better watch out!
IMHO its more accurate to say half gets leaked and other half stays secret, because stuff does leak that's for sure
I worked with a guy that was so weird. So he has these wild stories about Edwards Air Force base, he had worked in security there supposedly.. this was in the days of acoustic modems and before pc's.. so he says he has a telephone number for reporting things and a password... we had a real beater of a computer there and it had the telephone so we call it up... the screen flashes up with "what do you wish to report?".. I hung that thing up so fast... I still never believed the guy's stories that much, UFO's that appeared every time they tested the hottest most secret aircraft and energy experiments that started up and could not be shut off so they had to take another experiment, a ray gun, and shoot it to shut off the energy... I think in those days of the cold war they were just spooking the commies..
My father had a cryptographic clearance at a major air base in the southeast during the mid 60's. His job at the time was to decrypt and encrypt cables coming/going to/from wherever. He told me that he received cables where all told about a "dozen" or so pilots were killed chasing UFO's during his tenure there. The next of kin were told that they died in training accidents. He also told me that they had stealth planes in the early 60's. Under normal circumstances, the military is about 50 years ahead of what is in the public domain at any given time. At this point that are probably much more advanced then that. John
That's right. How long did it take to develop the B-2? The SR71 blackbird (Mach 3) was around in the 50's. Mind you, that's 10 years after WW2 was fought with propeller planes (sub Mach). Astonishing that "independent thinkers" the likes of traders are actually quite ignorant. If Free Energy was ever discovered by Government, and I believe it was (a long time ago), there's no way in hell they'd let it out. Its all about Control and Power. Free energy would mobilize a huge creation of wealth for the middle class. Wealth = freedom = power.
As I mentioned earlier I believe the main reason is that it can be easily weaponized plus they can't explain where it came from and how long they had it. Its a public relations nightmare. Also consider that about half the economy is in the business of energy production and logistics, transportation etc. Once you get anti gravity hauling vehicles why use trucks or airplanes or trains or ships for that matter. Half the jobs would go obsolete within 5 years. Its a real problem making the transition and you can't go half way because the physics is so elegant that once laid out is probably easily reproduced by whoever is interested in doing so. John
Agreed. But every school of economic thought says that type innovation drives a huge leap forward in living standards. Yes, the IRS employs people. But its better for the economy as a whole, not to pay income tax. Its the same with Oil. We don't want jobs for the sake of having jobs. We want jobs that produce an increase in living standards. New technologies just displace jobs from one obsolete industry, to the new one. Say they come out with anti-gravity. The transport industry (car, truck, rail, air, ship) all re-tool into a hover-transport industry. The computer revolutionized business admin and drove high-tech innovation. It produced a huge net gain in jobs. Same with rail. Sure it put the type-writer, secretarial, carbon-paper, and horse and buggy industries out of business. But the wealth it created in return was far greater! The argument against free energy is really just a rehash of the arguments against computers, or the internet, or the automobile etc. The scare-stories they tell guys who actually work-on and develop this stuff is just a cover. At the end of the day, its about Control. Control over Americans. Control over the World. Energy (and education) is the lynch pin to the global economy. Make it free and plentiful, and the World takes off like a rocket. The Controllers, Bureaucrats and Corporate Fiefdoms that parasitically feed off taxes (overt and hidden), don't want that. Free-energy/anti-gravity turn the pyramid of social control on its head. Right now, its top down. FE = Bottom up. Power to the People.... Yes, FE/Anti-gravity could be a powerful weapon. Appears, that's the only downside...
Anti Gravity/FE would create the biggest boom mankind ever experienced but the problem is with the transition.
