Yes not a scratch. Nephew did one tour in Taliban land. Saw action. My son was in the 101st during the Iraq invasion in 2003, was it? Went back later for a year as a private security contractor. Then he did a tour in Afghanistan.

The brother-in-law did two tours in Iraq. And was among some of the last to leave, Army medic. He's in Alaska now. Last I heard he'd like to get in his 20 for the pension.

Good news + bad news.First the bad news. Not many dems like JFK, 2nd ammendment helper + NRA LIfe member.[NOT a prediction]And sniper rounds like 300 magnum + .338 magnums have always been HI priced; and the Iraq ammo does not keep as long in desert/ HI heat:D
Good news is .223 ammo + 30-06 ammo is so common in private sector; even if the gov tried to goof UP the price, its an election year.LOL

More good news is Rutherford B Hayes lost the common vote presidency to Democratic Samuel Tilden. But then they cut a deal with dems, won the electorial college/election , + got the federal troops out of the south. It was a strange election, like when Pres + LIFE NRA member Republican Ronald Reagan was elected; because lots of dems voted for Pres Ronald Reagan + Pres Hayes.LOL:D
