  1. make a step of progress with materials, get a tax

    that's value-removal, not value-added

Pelosi wants to look at a non progressive tax!!! What next, Democrats will admit that they were wrong to try to drive us to insolvency, the UAW will apologize to GM...

Good luck with that one. The Dems would have their legs taken out in 2010 and be buried permanently in 2012 if they passed such a tax.

They are greatly overestimating the appetite for tax increases in the US.

  5. she's to be interviewed by Charlie the mouth that never shuts Rose today ?
being re-broadcast on CNBS tonight if interested

  6. What about the ones who don't pay any income tax? I doubt they'd mind.

"Tax increase? Sure, why not? I ain't paying it."...

I would be willing to bet that half of these people don't even know that they are not income tax payers.

If you look at polling, people are strongly opposed to tax increases at all levels of income.

I'm glad we still have some semblance of our "anti-government" sentiment, that this country was founded on.

Pelosi is just looking at ways of funding her stimulus checks that she likes so much.
