Between this one and AAA making tinfoil MAGA hats from the aluminium in vaccines earlier, good times indeed.

  3. I have looked at US foreign policy under the Trump Administration in several ways. I have yet to have been able to identify a cohesive plan, except, perhaps, reducing US involvement into too many hotspots. It does seem the Russians and their allies take the space we leave behind, however.

Another issue I have is timing. If Trump wanted to abandon funding of Ukraine after the elections and it fit losing an ally for potential better relations with Russia, for future goals of normalization, then so be it. However, we still have strong sanctions on Russia, so it does not seem consistent for us to be willing to let go of our relationship with Ukraine. As a side note, what if Ukraine’s new leadership is secretly pro Russian? Wouldn’t that be fun? Russia effectively getting aid from the US for the price of a little show at the border. Then again, Trump may have needed time to weigh all the options and ultimately decided to maintain the status quo with Ukraine. I did perceive Taylor’s basically pro arms dealing rhetoric.

The US asking an ally for cooperation in an investigation, including a domestic political investigation, is reasonable. However, directly applying political pressure creates an environment that may be rife with conflicts of interest and possibly tainting the investigation beyond repair is not acceptable in my opinion. Then again, it does appear one of the most entrenched Democratic establishment politicians, Joe Biden, has very strong involvement with Ukraine. Were the real whistleblowers were Joe Biden and the new Ukraine President? There are other potential twists, but It all goes back to having a solid understanding of geopolitics and a core philosophical belief that is reasonably achievable. This, as well as Biden’s, the democrats, and the media’s corruption is biting Trump in the ass now.

It is scary to think what a Democrat Presidency will bring. I fully believe freedom in the US is in a dead stick spiral towards oblivion upon election of a Democratic President. However, the Republicans have to show voters a convincing alternative to corruption by staying above board. Unfair double standard, perhaps, but the reality is the Democrats enjoy broad favorable media coverage and the Republicans do not.

At the Central Intelligence Agency level, it would seem to be wholly appropriate for Trump to order CIA Agents to bribe various Ukraine businessmen and public officials for purposes of gathering evidence of Joe Biden’s long term corruption. It is likely there is corruption in the CIA as well, but Trump is a big boy and he needs to look at a isolation tactics involving different investigations with different CIA management into the various aspects of Biden’s Ukraine involvement. Another side note: Remember the attempted normalization of US relations with Cuba? Democrats shut out Republicans from conducting business there and when the Republicans gained the control of Congress, US relations with Cuba were effectively nixed. So politics on both sides often takes precedence over practicality or foreign relations.

Another area to explore in depth is the question of Ukraine’s new leadership colluding with Biden and the Democrats. These parties may all be in alignment to maintain US funding and to take Trump down. Biden’s, the Democrat’s, and Ukraine’s interests may be all aligned. In this case, Trump is justified, if not compelled, into using executive power to defend our Constitution as it applies to the maintenance of the Executive Branch and beyond. I have railed against politicians from having overseas financial or political interests, including travel to foreign countries by other than the current President. Regardless, far reaching political reforms are necessary if we are to keep our Democracy.

GOP lawmakers storm closed-door impeachment session, as Schiff walks out

The Republicans specifically called out Schiff, D-Calif., who is leading the investigation.

“What is Adam Schiff trying to hide?” asked House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La. “I think that’s the question so many people have, so many of my colleagues have, so many people in the press should have.”

“Voting members of Congress are being denied access from being able to see what’s happening behind these closed doors where they’re trying to impeach the president of the United States with a one-sided set of rules,” Scalise continued.

Only a majority of The House is needed for impeachment so there is no need for all to be there.

So I’ve been coming more and more to the realization that Trump really does listen to the last person he talks to.

I don’t know if you all remember this characterization of Trump early in his presidency but it seems to hold true. Trump is simply a dumbass surrounded by a bunch of idiot sycophants.

There is no end game or strategy. There is no North Star. He just simply believes the tv and the last person in the room.

So breaking all of this stuff down based on logic is really a waste of time. You need to compare his tweets to what is on Fox News at the time (already proven) and who he spoke to last for policy decisions like in the situation with the Kurds, Erdogan was the last person he spoke to.

The rest is him just doing his best to survive with one bad decision after another.

So trying to figure out this Biden stuff and Ukraine. It’s Giuliani and the two Ukrainians funded by the Russians that pulled a fast one on him. Nothing more, nothing less.

Right but that is just him acting on the bad information he got from Giuliani and Fox News. His nature led him to take that bad info as a basis to abuse the power of the presidency. He is responsible for that no matter how low his intelligence is.

  10. The abuse that you allege must be proven.

Where are you going to prove that such that it results in either conviction or removal?
