In today's world, unfortunately, this does show bias. You can't donate one way and then go after the other side - even if there is no ill intent, the polarization of society will cast doubt upon your actions. So you have to find someone who is apolitical otherwise the other side won't accept it. And don't make this a right/conservative thing. The moment the sides switch, the left would be claiming the same problem, and they'd be right.
When we start hearing sworn testimony that faces cross examination by Trump’s attorneys and supports the assertions of Democrats will there be anything real to talk about.
Completely agree. It doesn't show hopeless bias, not to me at least. But it would cast suspicion on the investigation, which should be something we'd want to avoid.
You realize republican congressmen were there asking questions, right? I’m sure their counsels were there too. As a note, I know Jim Jordan was there and refused to answer any reporters questions when on break and I still have not seen a reaction or statement from any republicans that were there. Republican silence does not bode well for Trump here.
I am not. Republican congressmen are not allowed to even take notes and do not get a transcript afterwards, so I do not assume that they were allowed to have their counsel and staff there. I could be wrong. I have not seen a true star chamber kangaroo court before so am not sure what if any rules there are.
Unfortunately they are going to throw the kitchen sink at this guy but this is what true patriotism looks like. Standing up for the rule of law and the constitution ain’t for the weak kneed.
You are of course referring to the very same constitution that your swamp ilk, Obama, Rice, and Brennan conveniently set aside to attempt a soft coup.
