The problem is quite a few of the better candidates have had to run under the “kiss of political death” Independent Party. Be honest. Which would you rather have: A mediocre Democrat candidate or a excellent candidate the Democratic Party leaders don’t want and hinder because that candidate truly wants to represent the people, not the establishment? When you say you only want to do what’s practical and realistic, it seems like you are beat without even being willing to try. That is what the establishment wants us to believe. It is what keeps them entrenched. Lets have a climate strike ourselves. Let’s do a French Yellow Vest protest. How about a Hong Kong protest? Even better, how about a people against the political parties protest? I’m thinking a thread dedicated for just this purpose, with all our ideas and plans transparent and out in the open. You interested in participating in this idea?
There don’t appear to be any strong presidential candidates on either side in 2020. I would venture to say most people have serious misgivings to the choices the media and the Democratic Party effectively have allowed on stage. Let’s organize a protest vote against the political parties and the media. Let’s create a petition that allows the people more direct participation in our daily political process. Sleep on it, do a little brainstorming, and talk with some people on these ideas. Whatever we can come up with has got to be better than the beat down we have been getting from Red and Blue politicians all these decades. The fact the politicians each get their turns(terms) on us is no cause for anyone to feel better.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ukraine-trump-zelensky-military-aid Ukraine president: Nobody explained to me why US military aid was delayed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was not told why the Trump administration delayed $250 million in military aid to the country, he said on Tuesday. “It wasn’t explained to me," Zelensky said about the withholding of the support from July until Sept. 11. Trump has cited corruption in Ukraine as one of the reasons the U.S. held back the funds. Zelensky pushed back against allegations that Trump used military aid as leverage during the leaders' July 25 call. Trump has been accused of taking part in an alleged quid pro quo scheme centered on that call, in which he sought to have Ukrainian officials investigate leading presidential campaign rival Joe Biden, Biden's son Hunter and their business dealings in the country. The accusations have sparked an impeachment inquiry into Trump.
Pssstt------The truth is that Ukraine was totally unaware that aid was delayed. In order for a quid pro quo, both parties have to be knowledgeable of what the terms are.
