Pelosi Impeachment Inquiry

  1. The way out for the republicans is to fix their bayonets and fight.

I am not going to replay three previous posts that I have done on it, but I will offer up the reminder that the memos, texts, and related documents ABSOLUTELY showing that the Obama adminstration was concerned about Burisma but could not figure out how to deal with Hunter being there ARE ABSOLUTELY OUT AND IN HAND. Along with evidence that the New York Times had a full story and investigation in process but backed off when the DOJ backed off. The supporting documentation and sign in for meetings at the white house absolutely confirms that they were hosted by Eric Ciarmella.

Trump absolutely has a credible defense against the allegation that he was 100% politically motivated by demonstrating beyond doubt that he was doing what event previous adminstration was doing EXCEPT THEY WERE THE ONES WHO BACKED DOWN FOR POLITICAL REASONS.

The way the republicans need to deal with this is to fight. Bring Biden in, bring ciarmella in (without even designating him as the whistleblower, just because he was listed in the white house logs), and call Schiff etc.

The White House is moving on to witness strategy and looking to make this a long drawn out fight in the courts over executive privilege. Good luck with that. As if the senate is just going to sit everyday for 8 months gaveling in a trial.

If we move to witnesses and Trump asserts privilege, the latter more likely than the former but both probable now, I’d like to see Roberts rule on the matter from his place at the trial then let the Supreme Court clean the whole thing up.

so far I don't see anything I think honest politicians would consider an impeachable offense.
but... we don't have more than a dozen or so honest politicians in D.C.

This ain't beanbag. This is Kabuki.
The Establishments has the power to pull the strings.
Look at how they got Ryan to bark like a dog at will.

I would like to think a great legal defense will win the day.

The reality is... this is already orchestrated.
    There will be no surprises.

We are just going to witness the Kabuki.
Ginsburg and another seat and Trump... package deal.
How they worked it out.. I don't know.
But, they don't leave this to chance.

Right now... I would say its 70 /30 trump is out.
    (70 that he is out.)
That is how corrupt I think the establishment is.

They may have put up Bernie against Romney or Pence as part of the deal.

In the end, I believe there will be no witnesses at all. Romney et al will eventually realize the folly of their leanings. ---for example, the litigation of executive privilege alone will be a 9 to 12 month process as Judge Roberts has no power at all to make decisions during the trial regarding this. --Sure, this is what Dems want, but it is of no help to the country.

  5. Quite so and that could very well be.

But it is not pretty either if the opposite is true- ie. the Court takes it on an expedited basis. There is no constitutional or legal basis for concluding that the impeachment clause supersedes, or is paramount above the other rights and privileges that a president may have which are equally derived from the constitution. So it may drag on longer than they want, or they may get a ruling faster than they thought but not what they wanted.

---and history is on the side of the President with regard to executive privilege. It's been litigated many different times and he will most likely prevail. Dems know that but would love to drag it out. There is a slight possibility that Trump would waive executive privilege as well, since the witnesses would have nothing to help Dem's case.---

Everyone listening in to the call has agreed that that was the text of the call as close to verbatim as is possible by the way it's done.---It can be called The Transcript.
