Pelosi Gives Omar A Pass As "Anti-Semitism" Resolution Morphs Into Indictment Of Trump Supporters

  1. Only they play by different rules, which apparently was a big surprise to the "principled conservative" crowd. When one of theirs was attacked, the dems circled the wagons. Conservatives rush to throw someone off the wagon to prove they are not racist.

  2. Pelosi used her various power plays to regain speakership of the House, but she has not really been able to assert any control over it. It is basically just a collection of unmanageable factions now. She is unable to control all the lefty rabble with their comments that are harder and harder to defend, and she is unable to control the surging attempt to move toward impeachment....something that she always adamantly opposed. She hates trump and wants him out of course but - for very good reasons- she believes that nothing but nothing will rally Trump's base like trying to impeach him, plus no one will hear any of the dems 2020 campaign messages with the impeachment theater going on. She remembers the days when Bubba was impeached and it sent his popularity through the roof. Not the desired outcome.

But yeh, Pelosi is just running around now putting duct tape and bondo on flare-ups from various members and has lost control of the House- at least at the level that will be needed for what lies ahead. Impeachment attempts, chaos from the 2020 campaigns, and the balkanization of the dem congressional delegation. All of this will be assuaged a bit if - as we get into the campaign season- dems feel like they got themselves a winner and there is a God after all who will take trump down. A winning candidate will unify them and call them to a higher order for a few months anyway. But the opposite is also true. If they continue to be in chaos - and it looks like they are going to have to live with some dildo who even they think Trump can beat, then it will get uglier and uglier and uglier- especially if a failed attempt to impeach trump has occurred and so that source of hope has been removed.

Karl Rove is bush ding dong, blah, blah, blah, etc. etc. Nevertheless,he knows a bit about campaign mechanics and how all the revised superdelegate rules play out state by state etc.
But you dont need to go into all those weeds. Just the title of his article gives you a sense of his message. If any lefties disagree, then that is fine. Your primary. MIght be good though to start finding a candidate who can say something more than "I hate Trump more and betterer than the other dem candidates. First debate coming right up in June.

Meanwhile, Biden and Bernie are leading in the polls bigtime. And yes it is so ridiculously early that polls do not matter - mostly. Except that we are now only about a month away from knowing who is going to be in the pool of candidates. There is probably only Biden, Beto, and Eric Swallwell left to announce or declare "exploratory" campaigns. So if the polls mean nothing, that is understandable, but it gotta be a sinking feeling for dems to realize that someone in the mostly-known pool of candidates will become the nominee. Whew, tards, we are here for you. Hope that impeachment thing works for ya. And I am not seeing the Mogudishu or Che Guevera wings of the party line up behind white bread Joe Biden or white bread Beto, or white bread Gillibrand so y'all gotta be careful your party does not just completely shiite the bed.

  3. As discussed yesterday - above.

Pelosi does not want to go down the impeachment road. She may hate Trump but she fears a failed impeachment and making a martyr out of Trump bigtime.

I say again- she may have won the speakership- but she does not have control over the house. The dems are in chaos and totally disorganized going into the election cycle and it wont be pretty for the dems. Even if they win it wont be pretty. Plenty of blood on the floor before it is over.

Not sayin that's a bad thing.
