Fine, if a Cop,(who should be fully understanding of trespass and unlawful entry laws) chooses to break the law, duh? I’m not talking about the idiots, I’m talking about a concerted effort to stigmatize everyone, the hard working, God loving, tax paying citizens who just showed up in DC in support of Trump and Conservatives. We’ve already had a local Sheriff, who was in DC but not part of the crap, falsely targeted online by his opponents. This is where this is headed if people don’t take a breath and step back. The average Joe caught up in the frenzy to punish everyone, everything the “Woke” find offensive, will pay the price.
The idiots who post photos of themselves inside the Congressional building bragging about their involvement -- or are found in many other photos breaking the law --- have no excuse. They should be fired immediately and prosecuted. At this point there are few people "caught up in the frenzy" who are not guilty in regards to being investigated for termination from their jobs. Political opponents will always claim what they desire -- but they better show up with evidence to support their claims -- otherwise it will flash back on them. Remember "the revolution was televised" on social media... there are so many photos and videos that the evidence is pretty clear.
Do you really believe the people, unarmed, meandering up the stairs, posing for pictures were there in insurrection or revolution ?
So breaking and entering and tresspassing on federal property with people who are destroying and attacking cops is suddenly not a crime in the Capitol? Let me meander into your home and pose for pictures in your living room while some thugs are banging on your door to attack you and stealing your shit..... no crime committed. I know you are just trying to troll or be difficult but I think you are pushing it with this one. If they were just strolling through then their crime charge will be less so don't worry. But nothing can save them from having their job taken away. Don't ignore the fact that they all believe their Fuhrer that the election was stolen because Trump got 75 million votes.... too bad Biden got more.. that is how it works.
The treasonous Army PSYOPS officer has resigned... Fort Bragg officer resigns as Army investigates her involvement in DC rally https://www.cbs17.com/news/local-ne...rmy-investigates-her-involvement-in-dc-rally/
Yeah, the ones committing violence and showing their face on national TV or bragging about it on social media self videos / images of them committing violence...some even "live streaming" it on social media... They should be arrested and such has already started. Some already losing their jobs...rightfully so too. Oh wait, the ones that were involved but were suppose to be at work but lied and called in sick...they have been fired or suspended without pay after being identified for being participating in the insurrection. Heck, my girlfriend a head nurse here in Québec...told me there were dumbass Canadians that went to a nursing conference in Washington D.C., crossing the border as essential workers and then participating in the insurrection...the idiots live streamed themselves fighting Capitol Hill police... What the Fuck. Everyone of them have now been fired...rightfully so. Those that want to continue downplaying it...that's on them. wrbtrader
I’m actually trying to be level headed. Yes, there were some, few really bad apples ( they should be dealt with), then a larger group who entered the Capitol building, who weren’t hell bent on causing destruction, more caught up in stupidity of the moment but were absolutely breaking the law. Those people will face the judge, but they’re not insurrectionists, revolutionaries.... they’re just dumb. But we’ve seen the same stupid behavior from the BLM protesters this summer. I’m concerned with the attempt to falsely categorize everyone into the guilty column by mere association.
In the same manner I support prosecution and imprisonment of BLM/ANTIFA rioters who cause property damage, illegally entered building, and use violence.... I support the prosecution and imprisonment of Trump rioters who cause property damage, illegally entered building, and use violence. Any questions? My standards apply to both political extremes. There is no "caught up in the stupidity of the moment" bullshiat. If you are doing illegal acts then you should be prosecuted. There are also consequences in regards to the employment of rioters. Most states are "employment at will" and you can be fired immediately for committing crimes outside of work.
remember the law has different levels. Somone just standing there clearly identified might only be charged with misdemeanor tresspass. Problem is, they all went together as a crowd and stormed the Capitol. If someone was truly innocent they would have stayed outside or left when it appeared to be get violent. People always have a choice to go in, stay outside or leave and people cannot be absolved of their choices in those scenerios. I am sure many stayed on the Mall but the rationale for being there was still to claim the government was stealing and faking an election with no proof. Not a crime per se but depends on how far their involvement went beyond simply chanting on the Mall. Some bad shit went down and those standing in the middle claiming they are innocent will find it tough. People who were only on the mall and all over social media will really have to find a way to justify their presence and escape punishment from employers. No one wants their name linked to such a thing and those who were there and did not participate have not lifted a finger to condemn or show a change of heart. It is easy...... be a die hard republican and say you voted for Trump....say Biden is a horrible choice for America... stay active politically.... but to go out of your way to attend a rally and support speech that claims the election was a fraud, that your man is your idol who can do no wrong, that the other side should be punished with violence..... well you went off the reservation and should be accountable for your beliefs to an extent.
my question is for those defending these acts. Would you commit these acts as well? Like ransack the capital? What's the point of entering the capital to begin with if you weren't looking to destroy, hang or kill someone. I don't get it. Some just got caught up in the moment like sheep and committed a crime. Sorry too bad.
