  1. I assume if you have at least 25k,you can daytrade(retail broker like IB)with 4 to 1 leverage as long as you liquidate the position by the end of the day? So i assume that it is still 2 to 1 for overnight trades,no matter how much you have in your account? Also,is there a limit to how many daytrades you can do in one day with a retail broker? Say i have 25k in the account and i use the full 4 to 1 leverage.I make a 2000 share long trade of a $50 stock(100,000 total) and then sell a few minutes later.Am i then at my limit, therefore not able to do any more trades that day,or am i allowed to do 100 trades if i want to? Would this change if i had a cash account ,as to how many trades i could do a day?
  2. why don't you ask your broker?
