  1. It works.

and the torrent is seeded better than Paris Hilton on a Saturday Night.

It will probably be around for a while.

If any crime was committed by JohnsTradingClub by posting the movie, to bring a case the plaintiff would have to have 'standing' show some loss or hurt in some kind. Where was the hurt and where was the loss? What jurisdiction and what DA would hear the case?

Compared to internet crimes such as child porn, money laundering, id theft, denial of service attacks, virus generation, etc., etc., etc....

Jones can threaten web site and have the files taken down, even contact web service providers, YouTube is easy, they will take down anything and ask questions later.

But tracking down posters on a forum? Not going to happen....

Also, any legal action would only result in more demand for the video and more main stream media attention. Dealbreaker.com had 3 Jones articles in the past week. Any action would result in a lot of people asking who is PTJ and how did he make $3.3 billion?

The movie is out there on the web, no way to take it down. The more effort applied, the more places it turns up... That is the world we live in for good or bad.

But hey, that is just my opinion.

If there was any substance to the threat the language from the lawyers would have been much different . They "suggested", not demanded or threatened suit. The same with the copyright "claimant", not owner. They are out of touch with the new world , so much so that they don't realize that all they have done is proppell it even more so into the public eye. By now it's in countries that don't give a fig about copywrite law. If they continue to make a stink about it it will end up on the evening news. They should just walk away and it will go away. They have no real bullets or they would have fired them. There's nothing in that video worth spending money on defending their position.

I have a copy of the original VHS tape. I bought it from Traders Press at a trade show in the early 1990's.

What you don't see on the web version is the out-take where P.T. Jones talks about his involvement in the Iran Contra affair and various overseas assassination attempts.

It is no wonder that he is trying to cover this up. It would not surprise me if dead bodies start turning up.

My copy is stored in a secure location with instructions that if anything were to happen to me, to make the tape public.

Who would ever need to watch a soapie, with ET we get it all, the thrills, the suspense, the intrige, the passion and not least the comedy. Folks remember, the world will always love a clown! Here is another reason to stay of the drugs during the trading week!

    :D :p :D :) :) :D

    Regards

  10. The video has been secretly uploaded to a public download server in Germany (not by me) as a 280 MB rar file. However, unlike the GS trading code, no password is required this time.
