Paul Krugman Tells it like it is

  1. It doesn't matter to me right or left, what matters is that I hear the people, both pols and those who voted for the pols take full responsibility for how we got here.

It is an American problem, which won't require a right or a left solution, but an American solution.

Let's "stop the insanity" of partisanship and focus on the way out together.

What I see primarily here at ET is the same clowns who defended Bush blindly, refusing to accept responsibility personally and politically for how we got here...all they want to do in my opinion is blame Obama and get back in power.

They want the power back, but the power they had was wasted by Bush, just as the power Clinton had was wasted by a selfish Clinton himself by not resigning and allowing Gore to be president, who would have been easily re-elected in 2000...which would have prevented the entire Bush fiasco.

I want sunlight back in our government and the vampires gone, but that will only happen when the voters crawl out of the dark and admit to their part in the problem...

  2. Does an American solution mean going against the principles of the last 200 years?

Just say you want socialism already.

  3. Your last 200 years conveniently miss much of the last 80 years...

No, I want to say balanced society, which we have not seen under the republicans since Ike...

    jem

zzz the reason you are a moron is that facts do not matter to you.

You show me the last time i defended Bush and his spending and I will bet it was when I was stating his tax cuts would stimulate the economy after 911.

I have always been pissed at this crazy spending and I have said so on here many times.

The problem here is Obama promised change... what we are getting is Bush on PCP.

We want change. Not worse Bush.
