    The title of this mini news release =''Hedged''

    Best way to vote, hedged ;
    voted for a Democrat,Jimmy Carter, then Republican Pat Robertson of CBN[different years]

    Didnt vote for Carter the 2nd time;
    as P Tudor Jones says ''never add to a loser''!!!!!!
    :D
    =================================

    Dont like to talk about a Baptist that way, but facts are facts;
    there is enough info on this web site to show what a Benedict Arnold- traitor Carter has been to Israel & America,.

    Perhaps Carter is worse than a drug dealer ,Wilburbear.

    Maybe. Nobody can dispute that he's one of the savviest guys in the world. And he has a knack for picking winners (I was particularly impressed by comments at http://www.thelogicaltrader.net/jones.html

    But in any case, when you accumulate hundreds of millions making big bets, you become an expert on everything, right? Obama is the liberal's favorite choice right now, but I'd rather see Michael Bloomberg throw his hat into the ring!

  7. AMEX2: I assume you have some connection to the AMEX. While we've got you on the line, what's your read on the link given below? Specifically, the "Leaked SEC Report" regarding the AMEX given as the last link on this page?

    Thx,
    W

    Having been a member for 10 years, and connected to others that have been members for upwards of 40 years, its safe to say that Saldano's tenure was a major low point in Amex history.

    Whether or not he took the same posture that Dick Grasso purportedly did--i.e. mitigating or downplaying the allegations of specialist misbehavior to assuage the membership remains to be seen. One can argue that Saldano was a combination of self-serving, subserviant to influential floor members and totally incompetent, all at the same time. The NASDAQ 'acquisition' of Amex and the subsequent implosion of that deal is a prime example of Amex management displaying ineptitude, exposing themselves to conflict of interest issues, and a bombastic deal made without objective foresight.

    The fact that Saldano found his way into teaching and roles as a quasi-government employee is at best ironic, and at worst, yet another example of its who you know, not what you know.

    Karl Marx is undoubtably one of the deepest thinkers the world has ever seen. He raised some fantastically important issues that are still being debated today in theoretical economics/political philosophy.

    To quote Karl Marx doesn't mean you are automatically a socialist.

  10. Your attack on wilburbear was more over the top than as his remark about Obama. He made one unsubstantiated claim you uttered half a dozen.

    When a teenager admits he's had a problem with an expensive drug it's not a big stretch to imagine he's dealt as well.

    Most guys I've known with serious blow probs were also sellers. Not dealers mind you but the type who'd buy an "eight ball", pocket a gram for personal consumption and then maybe step on the rest.

    I don't know too many teens who can cop a gram on a consistent basis using allowance or even after school job money. Cocaine isn't pot.

    Hell I give him kudus for dealing instead of other time honored methods used by America's black youth like stealing car radios, holding up merchants or purse snatching from elderly women.
