  2. That's what I'm saying: It's caused too much anxiety already.

Don't let it get to you. The more you let it bother you, the more harm it will do to you.
Just see how you can work around it, and put it in the past. Forget about this stupid rule, so you can stay relaxed, and go on focusing on what's really important. I've certainly wasted more than enough energy on this issue, and I'm glad to be done with it.

I hope they will not come after us like fugitives. But I suspect they will...

    :p

    Relaxing.

  4. True. If you have a good idea of how to get around these rules, it's best not to announce the idea too loudly. If they realize we can work around the rules they will try to prevent us from being able to.

  5. Uh, does this PDT apply to Options trading?

Yes, NASD and its brokers extend the PDT rules to stock options which makes the rules further illogical, insane and evil.

Please continue to vote. And write to NASD, SEC, politicians and related organizations. The more they are annoyed and scared, the more you know how much scam and advantage they have done.

    :p

Ask the original post of the thread if I have been off-topic.

No, you haven't been off-topic. So far in this thread you have made a totally absurd 35 posts on the same subject. Aside from being childish, it's annoying to the members of this community. I realize you agreed to no longer rant and rave about IB, so all your anger and energy is now focused again on the PDT rules. But you might consider spending some of that energy on something more constructive like.... I don't know.... like trading for instance (what an idea), or working within the framework of the unfair rules and doing your best. Unless grumbling and griping and fussing all the time to the wrong people is the best you can do?

Way to go Magna. The truth is most of the things on this earth are screwed up. Leave it to governments, if it works, some jackass in government will screw it up for everyone. If you don't have the money then you have to shut up and work for it. You have to ADAPT there's nothing else to it. Adaption might just make one a much better trader.

Thanks for your statistics on my posts. But I think you underestimate my avocational efforts on the abolishment or amendment of the PDT rules.

What is wrong with the fact that I repeat posting about PDT rules and wake up people to realize the unfairness and danger of the rules to them? How many threads are not annoying in your opinions if you think they are not talking about old same single topics regarding trading? If you (a few things IMO) don't like it, you can choose not to read. I have not violate any rule.

Thanks for you suggestion on where I should spend my effort. I know exactly what the percentage of effort that I have spent on the PDT rule. They are so bad and deserve my effort to send them to their death.
