Does the pattern day trade rule also apply to futures, or does it only apply to stocks and options? I want to trade e-minis but wanted to make sure first. Thanks in advance.
It only applies to stocks. Options will trigger PDT but you can still make as many option trades you want because they are cash settled and there is zero margin involved.
