There are plenty of very attractive and cheap prostitutes, and there are alos plenty of very attractive women who aren't prostitutes but very interested in someone who is white, decent, and has some money.

Aids is rampant amongst the prostitutes. More than 12% of all Males in England with Aids got it from Thailand. Many prostitutes don't stop their trade once they learn they have Aids, they just keep going, what else are they supposed to do?

The women are the big feature here though. US companies are out sourcing their labor, and reitred labor is now out sourcing their wives.

Other than women, there's no much different in Thailand than alot of other locations. Beaches here are mostly polluted, locals appear friendly until you learn the language and customs, and prices are really increasing on all fronts. The US is cheaper in a lot of ways already.

Plus, you could get on the wrong side of the corrupt police force. There are rampant stories of police slipping wallets into peoples bags when they're shopping in the duty free at the airport. Then on the way out, they confront them and charge them with shop lifting. They're then taken to a location and given an offer. 10K dollars, or wait for 3 months for your court case to be heard.

In addition, they're about to have a major change take place, and once that does, the country could become very hostile to all whites.

I don't think you know the language very well and probably not even the country. Otherwise you would not write so much nonsense in such a short post.

Of course when some people think Thailand is paradise on earth they can easily get disappointed.
Complaining about the country they live in is a favourite pastime for many expats. It doesn't matter where in the world.

  4. All of the issues you have stated are similar issues in New York City. There is prostitution in New York City which are termed "Escorts", but the cost is obnoxiously higher. Aids is rampant in New York City with over 100,000 people infected.

There is no way the country would ever become hostile to Whites. Tourism accounts for over 10% of the GDP of Thailand. The tourists are not "sex tourists", but legitimate tourists from China, Russia and the Middle East. People bring their families to Pattaya all the time.

Of course, there is a seedy element, but such an element exists in all cities around the world. There is corruption everywhere and no place exists without it. You can get yourself in just as much trouble in New York City with the police as you can in Pattaya. In fact, the police in Pattaya are much more understanding of incidents then the NYPD will ever be.

Pattaya is not just about women. Its about living in a tropical atmosphere where its 85 degrees all year round. Its about palm trees, beaches and scenery. Where else can you rent a beach front condominium for under 1000 a month?

Some of you guys will be waking up today and leaving your $5000 a month Manhattan apartment believing you are living the good life. However, if you truly believe that, then you must be smoking something.

Some of you guys will be waking up today in NYC having spent a few hundred dollars last night with nothing to show but a hangover. You can spend about hundred dollars for a whole lot more in Pattaya. Women, beach, fun and wake up to a view of the ocean. Some of you in NYC will be stumbling out of the overpriced walkup apartment to the deli with empty wallet wondering where it all went and why you did not score. No such issues are in Pattaya.

  5. Rubbish. There are a lot of non-white men like myself who get all sorts of attractive women including white women. Are you still living in the 1900's?

  6. One fact a lot of people miss when they think about prostitution is that a non-prostitute is usually more expensive then a prostitute. I guess if you are under 30, you are saying "what, how is that possible?" Well, one day you will learn about how things really work.

From the very first day you meet a woman, any woman, you are paying. In fact, there are women all over NYC who will have you take them out where you pay hundreds of dollars for dinner, theatre and other things and then you get nothing. Once a long time ago, one NYC woman told me that she has to have at least 6 dates before she thinks about sleeping with the guy. Ok, 6 dates multiplied by $125 thats $750. So before she can entertain the fact of sleeping with you...you have to shell out at least $750 wining and dining her. Then there is the time you spent going out with her.

Then, when you start sleeping with her it only gets more expensive from there. There are quite a few wealthy guys around NYC who have sunk millions of dollars into some women and those relationships sometimes wound up in divorce. If you impregnate a woman around the tri-state, then you are going to pay child support. If you do not pay, then you go to jail.

Sometimes its just better to hand over the money to a woman for sex. Have a good time and then leave it at that. Unless you are young at the college age and still at that point where women will let you sleep with them without commitment or taking them out, you are going to pay whether you just hand over the money or otherwise.

  7. Great argument for prostitution as a bargain, which it invariably is AND you would not have to deal with the emotional drain that conventional relationships CAN be.
I'm with you regarding the easy going and fun-loving culture, though still hangin' in bangkok and have been on and off since 2000, trading about half that time. The internet is faster here and IMO, there are many more choices as good backups for such. though i had avoided pattaya as one huge patpong or soi cowboy(for those that don't know, a couple of the girlie bar areas in Bangkok), I actually made it for the first time last year as a buddy owns a studio condo in Jomtien where he paid just $28k USD and you can see the beach though it is about 100 meters from it. Still, I was surprisingly impressed as it reminded me of the Honolulu/Waikiki Beach area, though true, not as clean or not quite as picturesque but the food is tastier, the people are much friendlier and it is a helluva lot cheaper. Yes, I hit the party impressive walking street but compared to any red light district in the states, it is much less "seedy." I am thinking it is the culture. Of course, everything is IMHO.
to the guy that was spewing scat about corrupt cop problems, either you have never been to thailand and just heard a story or you know of people with the absolute worst luck on the planet as i know of no one that has had such things happen. sure, some cops will take 150 baht on the side from a taxi running a red light or a couple thousand baht for customs cops under the table if you try to bring in dutiable goods without declaring it (the states would be worse), and yes, charge you 50k baht for smoking weed if you want to stay out of jail but i have never heard of them planting shit on people, wallets or whatever. that is not to say it hasn't happened but there are enough minor/major infractions committed by us idiot tourists/ex-patriots for corrupt cops or govt. officials in the right places to make way more than the average college educated thai.
"hostile to all white" change, have you ever been to thailand or are you just a paranoid schizophrenic? how is the collective consciousness of an entire culture going to change from peaceful and friendly to hostile?

retailDT, best of luck trading this year and great to hear there is someone else out here trading these vampiric hours.

  8. At the same time do you think the 58 year old who is interested in an 18 year old is really interested in her because of her personality. The 58 year old is more interested in her Brillo Pad.

  9. I wanted to get back to this thread for a minute and tell you a little more about Pattaya. There is a 12 hour time difference between Pattaya and NYC. So you have to plan your trades carefully and be able to operate at night. Have you ever traded late at night at 2am? You have to be able to do that in Pattaya to trade the US markets. Today, I made a trade on the ERX set the stop and just went back to sleep. Price kept running and that was my trade for the day. Brokerage ticket posted in the 2010 P&L btw. Up $2500.

Its not only women that make Pattaya a great place to live. Scenes like the one below are what you experience year round, every day. Hiring a boat or renting that jet-ski is not expensive.
