Brazil vs Chile was so boring despite the 3 goals that it just wasn't worth commenting on.

Dunga said recently that they are going to have to crank it up.

Here's the thing though, if they play this lovey-dovey type soccer, Germany will kill 'em. Germany is firing on pure intention with fast breaks and clear reading of the midfield.

So let's hope that Brazil can deliver some real stuff ..........

  3. You are a very coherent drunk to be posting on ET with hyperlinks, text styles and perfectly understandable sentences.

Might need to drink a few more before declaring drunker than a skunk and posting here on ET.

  4. :) :D

    Drink more?

1 large ice-cold SINGHA beer after a 2-hr bucketload-sweat-workout is all I need to go to paradise for 2 hrs. More than that is a no, no - here's why .... :)

    -------------------------------

Scientists suggested that men should take a look at their beer consumption, considering the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer.

The theory is that drinking beer makes men turn into women.

To test the finding, 100 men were fed 6 pints of beer each. It was then observed that 100% of the men gained weight, talked excessively without making sense, became overly emotional, couldn't drive, failed to think rationally, argued over nothing, and refused to apologize when wrong.

No further testing is planned. :) :D

England fans are very hard on their team's crash against Germany. I suggested to a group of them that, had the disallowed 2nd goal been granted, England would have rallied and perhaps done something different? They dismissed that notion unanimously and threw in more expletives about their own country.

I distinctly remember the look on Lampard's face when that goal was disallowed - crushed, broken spirit.

But in the article above, a German fellow who is knowledgeable about such things said,

“I still think it would have been a totally different game against England if the Lampard goal had stood. At 2-2, we don’t know how the game would have unfolded.”

  7. the GREATEST soccer game ever - during Nazi rule.

Germany versus Allies in stadium in Paris
    :) :) :D

Germany, Brazil, Rambo in goal, Pele, Harry Palmer (Funeral in Berlin), Bobby Moore, Max Von Sydow ......

Injured Pele's goal of the century, the magnificent French soccer crowd, great dribbling, outstanding "psyche" goalkeeping, Max Von Sydow's facial exp. transcending national boundaries, this game had it all. A movie? Hardly!!!! :D :D

Dow Jones 5-min. chart - I haven't changed a thing. Everything is as-is, with the dashed trendline now shown in bold to be able to spot easily. See how much lower Jones has gone? And dig this; not a single trend violation all the way down - granted some might have heeded the warning on the trendline shown, taken profits and then HAD TO HAVE GOTTEN back in on the rally trrendline break or 61.8% obvious trouble spot. Normal well-capitalized traders would have remained IN = Short the whole way down from the 5-min. top , if at all such traders even bother with such a nano timeframe. But I came to ET to learn realtime all the way down to 5-min., so that is exactly what I'm practising.

Can't follow along during market hours as I'm usually at the gym/workout/beer/dinner etc., so since this is the internet and one never knows who if anybody even follows what a newbie says, be alert and your own decision-maker as I might not even be at the chart when a significant turn occurs. All I know from looking at the 5-min. right now when the market is closed is that if PRICE closes above 9937 on a 5-min. basis, there will either be a small upwave or a large one or a reversal. so you will have to decide whether to TP or hold position. A good guide is the 200m.a. on 5-min. If PRICE gets above it and stays above that's a good enough indication to TP. Short is the way to still be. OK? goodluck everyone. :):)

  9. Dow Jones DAILY chart significant CLOSING violation #2 yesterday, 29 June, 2010.

Here's my post on last page of "Feedback" thread
    http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=168825

    >>> > Did we get the trendline break and the wave closing low violation in Mr. Jones? Yep. See the Feb 8 closing low - now look at June 7 closing low. Dig? That's a wave violation. So as the crowd of optimists is cheering the Dow on, I saw that his legs got broke. That's pretty serious to me. Can I be wrong? Yeah sure, but a wave violation is quite serious stuff.

You want another shocker? ..... What if the current daily chart rally in Jones is forming the right shoulder? right shoulder requires dry-up of volume, right? <<<<<

Now dig this ... yesterday, June 29, 2010, Jones closed below this wave low again.

    Now dig this #2:

if the pattern on daily is indeed a H&S, and Jones is flirting with the neckline now, then we COULD BE at ...... what I've pointed out in a couple other threads ....
