According to the affidavit filed by a Secret Service agent, Zhang falsely told the Secret Service that she was at the club to go to the pool. Later she claimed that she had come to Mar-a-Lago to attend an event held by the “United Nations Chinese American Association” and that she had been sent there by a friend named Charles who had told her to travel from Shanghai, China, to Palm Beach, Florida, to attend the event and attempt to “speak with a member of the President’s family about Chinese and American foreign economic relations.” The day Zhang that showed up at Mar-a-Lago an event was scheduled there that night that had been promoted by Li “Cindy” Yang, a Trump donor who has owned massage parlors and who ran a business that offered Chinese clients opportunities to “interact with the president” and other GOP figures at Mar-a-Lago and elsewhere. The featured speaker at this event was Elizabeth Trump Grau, the president’s sister. This event at Mar-a-Lago, though, had been canceled after Mother Jones and the Miami Heraldreported on Yang’s activities. Zhang’s account suggested that she may have been in contact with Li Weitian, a Chinese businessman who goes by the name Charles Lee, who created a group called the United Nations Chinese Friendship Association and who had sold travel packages that included admittance to the Yang-promoted event at Mar-a-Lago to Chinese executives. Mother Jones has reported that Lee and his United Nations Chinese Friendship Association have ties to the Communist Party and Chinese government outfits. Lee did not respond to email requests for comments.
https://www.rawstory.com/2019/05/tr...fundraising-by-chinese-massage-parlor-tycoon/ Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort hit with grand jury subpoena over shady fundraising by Chinese massage parlor tycoon President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort this week got hit with a grand jury subpoena demanding documents related to allegedly shady fundraising activities coordinated by Chinese massage parlor tycoon Cindy Yang. The Miami Herald reports that one of the subpoenas, which was issued by a grand jury in West Palm Beach, Florida, “compels Mar-a-Lago to turn over all documents, records and communications relating to Yang, as well as 11 other people, one charity and seven companies affiliated with her.” The Miami Herald’s sources claim that the people listed in the subpoena include “Yang’s family members, former employees at her massage parlors and several donors to Trump Victory.” Yang’s role in fundraising for the president’s campaign has come under scrutiny in recent weeks. Back in March, the Miami Herald reported Yang “arranged for a group of Chinese business executives to attend a paid fundraiser for President Donald Trump in New York City.” In total, Yang paid $5,400 to Trump’s campaign and $23,500 to the Trump Victory PAC eleven days before the event. If any of the businessmen Yang brought to the New York fundraiser reimbursed her in any way, it could constitute an illegal foreign campaign contribution. Yang first came into public view after it was revealed that she was the founder of a Florida massage parlor where New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft allegedly solicited a prostitute earlier this year. Yang has also been photographed next to the president as a guest at Mar-a-Lago.
Solicitation charges dropped against New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/24/us/florida-robert-kraft-solicitation-charges-dropped/index.html Two solicitation of prostitution charges filed against New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft in Florida were dropped Thursday, court documents show. "Although there was probable cause to make an arrest, the evidence cannot prove all legally required elements of the crime alleged and is insufficient to support a criminal prosecution," State Attorney David Aronberg wrote in court documents. Kraft, an influential NFL owner, was one of dozens charged in relation to a prostitution and human trafficking investigation at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Florida, last year. Charges against Kraft were dropped after the office of Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody said Monday the state solicitor general would not seek another appeal in the case. Last month, a state appeals court sided with a lower court decision to throw out video evidence in the case. Kraft was one of dozens of patrons allegedly caught on secret cameras receiving illicit massages at a West Palm Beach spa in January 2019. A month later, he was charged with two misdemeanor counts of soliciting prostitution. His legal team challenged the validity of the search warrant that let authorities install hidden cameras inside the spa, saying it violated Florida law and his Fourth Amendment rights against unreasonable searches and seizures. A Palm Beach County judge agreed in May 2019 and ruled to suppress the video, effectively gutting the criminal case against him. "The type of law enforcement surveillance utilized in these cases is extreme," the appellate court ruling said. "While there will be situations which may warrant the use of the techniques at issue, the strict Fourth Amendment safeguards developed over the past few decades must be observed. If they are not, any evidence obtained could very well be declared inadmissible as a matter of constitutional law." Aronberg, the prosecutor, said he doesn't agree with the decision to not move forward with charges in the the Orchids of Asia Day Spa case but he understands it. "Without these videos, we cannot move forward with our prosecutions. And thus, we are ethically compelled to drop the cases against all of the defendants," Aronberg said. Aronberg said two people still face felony charges in the case. Kraft pleaded not guilty to the charges last year and offered an apology, saying he "hurt and disappointed my family, my close friends, my co-workers, our fans and many others who rightfully hold me to a higher standard." He has been the owner of the six-time Super Bowl champion New England Patriots since 1994.
Because the Vero Beach police department accused Kraft and other high profile Trump Republican donors of visiting this massage parlor. As noted on page 6 of this thread --- it came out later that some of the high profile people they accused were never anywhere near the massage parlor. As noted in page 10 of this thread many of people wrongly accused (at least 9 including Sandipkumar Patel, Jeffrey Jewett and others) have sued the police (note these were all settled out of court apparently). It should be noted that charges have been dropped against nearly everyone arrested in this situation after courts ruled video recorded illicitly inside the massage parlor was inadmissible. Leaving just two people who already confessed to to their crimes as the only ones left with felony charges. There is also the reality that pundits also accused the political-connected former owner of the spa as being involved.... who had sold this massage parlor long before this police action.
Good. Police were running an illegal sting operation. Everyone should applaud them getting exposed in their scam operation. Every cop involved should be fired.
I bet the women he paid for a tug and pull went to jail....not that I think it should be a crime but how you gonna charge the women and parlor but not the guy who paid for it.
