Thanks. That would be great. I couldn't handle the T4 platform with my profit target/stop loss setup. There was no way to save the template whereas on the NT7 DOM, I can save multiple setups and execute them with ease. Will watch for the new addition and sign up for the Combine again.
I talked with a scout from TopStepTrader yesterday and he answered a few of my questions. I learned the following: 1) I don`t have to interact with anyone and I can trade my system independently by managing trades with their software. Their only requirement is that I am logged on to their chat room, such that they can reach me. 2) I can trade whenever I want to during regular market hours and I`m free to take a day off or a holiday whenever I want to, as long as I maintain performance. 3) The long term prospects are very good. If I maintain performance in the long run and grow the account, it is very likely that my equity partner will ask me to increase the volume substantially and have access to more capital. "The sky is really the limit here." 4) After I have proven myself, they will back off and let me do my own thing without bugging me. Of course, risk management will still be strict, but there will be more freedom. 5) They are currently working to implement Ninjatrader and by the end of September he thinks they will have it up and running. I am going to apply for the combine later this year when I get some personal stuff out of the way and am ready to give it my best shot. Yes, the performance requirements are strict, but achievable. I am convinced that it is a legitimate operation and truly an excellent opportunity for any trader who knows how to trade, but lack capital!
I am in the program with Topsteptrader. The first thing I do is log onto the squawk they have. they have the rooms setup into pits so coversation is focused to certain markets. I like the energies room and equities room. I have learned alot from those rooms. I think they have a good grasp of knowledge there. a guy named Hoag does a daily class for an hour on different topics i think he traded in the dow or s&p 500 pit back in the day. they do interviews with traders and have updated levels and value areas during the day. honestly I really like it. When im really trying to focus in a trade I just mute the chat and unmute it when i want the squawk back on. If you want a breaking news audio the have that too. all day = cool I know they have the 10 day and 20 day combine which is a 30 day and 60 calender Combine. I have the 20 day combine which gives me 60 days to trade only 20. you must trade the 20 they say in order to be reviewed. you might want to check on that, but i just read it. Yes they have been talking about adding Ninja trader. I have used that platform before but have gotten used to the T4 they include with the program. I think last week they said ninja would be up and running soon in about a month. now which one to use? both? lol overall good program that keeps you focused and educated. hope to see you in the chat pits Laissez
End of September to run a combine with NT7 is great news. I am real busy right now adding another auto-trade system but I will be ready to start a combine at the end of September. I keep watching the TST Facebook page and all the updates with daily news has been great to follow. I will enter a 10 day combine once NT7 is up and running at TST. That is plenty of trading days for the way that I trade.
1) Those are 47 "profiles". How many out of those 47 traders are still trading with the firm? 2) For promotional purposes, the firm may keep inactive profiles posted in order to maintain an appearance of "growth" at the site.
"Are you currently trading live, Mr? " Not yet Laissez. I'm am making progress to that goal. It's been a tough trade lately for me, but I am keeping positive and confident with my trading.
Cooltraderdude- I will be more then happy to do this. Many in our program have blogs that document their experience and they post their trade reports. This allows them to be true to themselves and others around them on their ability creating a humble accountable trader. I am open to offering a critical member of ET a free 10 day Combine where we evaluate them on a $50,000 account, with a 5 lot maximum position, and a $1,000 daily loss limit. To receive funding they must profit $3,500 and adhere to the scouting criteria: http://www.topsteptrader.com/scoutingcriteria If at the end of the Combine the critical ET member has an ending balance greater than or equal to $3,500 and has adhered to the scouting criteria (found on the link I shared above), I will extend an offer to trade the same account with the same risk parameters LIVE as detailed here: http://www.topsteptrader.com/fundedtrader (max drawdown for the LIVE account is twice your daily loss limit or $2,000) Whoever we select in this will have their trade report posted on Elite Trader each day that they trade. We will also have their trade report profile found at this location viewable to the Elite Trader community and the public: http://www.topsteptrader.com/Profiles Everything mentioned above BESIDE MAKING THE TRADE REPORTS PUBLIC, is our standard Combine format. Let me know if this is something that interest anyone here. Once we have someone interested and ready to start we will start a new thread and we can all together go through their Combine experience. mp ps. we encourage the candidate selected to use all the tools in our program to maximize their performance... trade reports, daily hour long classes, trade journal, TST squawk radio broadcast LIVE outside the S&P pit, with real-time breaking news feed, interactive chat room, Bi-montlhy group Trading Psychology session with Dr. Andrew Menaker, and great camaraderie with other like-minded traders. Lastly- I would like to invite anyone to check out our program (which includes all the tools listed above along with Trading and Charting platform with real-time data feed) for 2-weeks completely FREE.
