imagine watching one of his $447 DVDs and wanting your money back but you can't get it back because he has a no refund policy. it says so right on his website. so you better be sure that it's going to be worth it before you buy. because you can't get your money back, did i mention that? i wasn't sure if i had...
As for the low tolerance for ignorance or what happens in some low star reviews: I can only comment as a person that was in the room. Pat puts a HUGE amount of energy into really good training. Some of it is asynchronous, meaning videos, tutorials, mentoring classes....stuff that is not an extra add-on. He really lays this down in a step-by step and asks people to watch it 2 times before asking questions in chat and interrupting the people in the first 20 minutes of the trading day. He has analytics that shows how each member is progressing through the material and where they get stuck. He does get pissed when someone is in there and is asking the basic 101 questions that are covered in numerous spots in the material and when they do it right as he is giving trading plans to everyone. He's doing that mainly to support the members that do put in the time and follow directions. However, that doesn't mean a new member is told to go read a book and disappear. They have very competent people at trick trades that try to answer questions and guide people through as much as possible. It is just Pat that gets pissed when people interrupt his trade plan when it is 15 min before the open and the whole room is waiting on his plan.
I'll join his chat-room and give a fair and honest review right here at ET. But I'm not gonna pay. Nor would I take a payment from him.
That is a good way to earn $$$$$. There are many newbies who do have not much choice but to pay professional talkers. Is that how this tattooed man became rich? I have attended numerous trading courses from professional talkers. A particular talker had a class size of > 100 and had conducted > 50 classes. Now he is hiding in don't-know-where. I have never seen any professional talkers trading live. You can conduct classes if you want to. You can dress nicely, or you can dress like this tattooed man. You don't have to show your trading account at all.
Like I said, he does show his P+L at day end for members, but he shows live click-by-click trading with order entry, charts, and his mouse completely live if you are in his momentum class. I've done it 3 times, I can vouch for that. I have not see any full, year-end broker statements. But I'd been in there long enough to see results with my own eyes to not need a year end statement. I would also say he definitely does not need the members to make his living. I'd say an average day for him is $10k-$25k from what I've seen just on trading ...maybe 2 trades in the firs 30 minutes.
I'd been in numerous rooms where there is no structure, no strong education, no focus, and no leadership from an expert trader. I've been in rooms where 1-2 of those might be present, but Pat managed to put a good amount in each category and it is obvious...but only after you've been there. And yes, $200-$300 can suck up a lot each month, so some folks just won't pay that and move on. it is what it is.
if folks here have no interest in actually learning how this person actually does it, then examples are pointless. I was the exact same way after being burned too many times. But in the end, the examples can be seen on the facebook group where he shows the broker P+L for the day. Yes you'll see some red trades, but rarely a red day. Every day since they formed the group is logged in there for anyone to see. But again, examples are pointless unless folks are actually interested in learning his craft.
