I think I'm going to need to see some proof of that! Come on Pat. Show us the "trick" in tricktrades.
I have not seen a broker statement of aggregate results. What I have seen is live trade statements from interactive brokers. And I believe them because I use the same broker and know exactly how they work. When I say live, I mean when he enters or exits, I can watch the P+L live and I can see on the interactive brokers chart the exact entries and exits with size. He puts those up while he is trading with the people in the momentum program so they can work with him and see how he's really trading. He does not do this for the regular guidance members that just pay for the trading plan for the day. Those folks get to hear what he's suggesting, but he does not tell them "I personally am going in now, ok..now I am exiting". If you want that, and you want to see his mouse literally on his orders...you need to pay for that more expensive momentum program. Momentum isn't just a program where you watch him though. He goes very very in-depth on trading issues. I have been in a lot of popular trading rooms, some of them run by somewhat ethical folks. Pat strikes me as the one that actually knows how to trade at an advanced level. And he warns people too...don't join momentum merely to copy my trade and go all-in with your full account thinking you'll hit the lottery.
Apparently Pat knows how to do EVERYTHING at an advanced level. That's what the $347 per month would get me is a very healthy dose of Pat Mitchell Thanks for your input! But can you explain his core trading strategy in 3 sentences or not?
The very elemental basics of the core strategy is support and resistance - nothing new. He has several very different ways to trade them, which include exactly where to start in, how to manage the trade, how to pay yourself, and a very unique stop strategy. He focuses on just 4 stocks, and doesn't get into more complicated stuff like level 2, order flow, DOMs, ...it is all levels and deep price action awareness.
But yes...he caters to beginners and advanced traders. there are 6 figure traders in his room. his mentoring and other offers can get really deep in the charts. Can an average person absorb some of that? not at first. But, you won't find his knowledge anywhere outside prop firms or institutions.
Why? Nothing against the guy, but if he's as good as he says... why sell subscriptions to a chat-room?
in his words, he likes working with people...running the business, and mentoring. He's pretty much mastered trading and says he enjoys the teaching. I know sounds weird but that's what he says. He is passionate about the teaching part.
I could see that. I actually looked at his website. He seems the type that would enjoy sharing what he knows. If it's any good or or not beats me. Let me in for free for a week and I'll let ya know. ~GBA VP of the real world. 400K views. And that is only on the 4rth and current the thread.
see that's the part that i'm not sure i can agree with. from what i've seen in his youtube videos he seems to have a very low tolerance for ignorance and i detect a bit of disdain in him for people who don't know as much about things as he does (not just in trading but in any area of life). that's just a personal opinion i've arrived at but i have seen a few negative reviews people left him on trustpilot and there's not many of them but he really raked them over the coals in his replies which only confirmed my suspicions that he doesn't like to be challenged or called out or called wrong or anything. with that said though, he sure does seem to have alot of 5 star reviews from people who apparently love him to death. i have to wonder how many of them are people who went there on his suggestion to leave him a review. does he ask people to leave him reviews is the question. if he ever kicks someone out of his discord/chatroom whatever it is, he should at least give them a pro-rated refund. that's what a professional would do.
i'm sure he DOES enjoy sharing what he knows when you're paying $447 for a downloadable DVD and he has tons of different ones! Is anyone actually buying stuff like that because that seems REALLY expensive! https://tricktrades.com/digital-store here's a project for Pat if he's listening: encode all those DVDs into videocd format and upload them to youtube so i can watch them all for free. i won't even complain about the low resolution. see?
