Past recessions vs this recession

  1. Everyone keeps making a big deal about the unemployment rate. For the past two recessions, we've had a jobless recovery. It seems like we are currently going through a jobless recovery. If we were able to get out of the last recession without jobs , why won't it work this time?

Because last time we infused the consumer with a credit IV to pump the economy in lieu of jobs via consumer credit and mortgage cash outs and low payments, it was also very easy for small business to get cheap credit and easy terms, this time credit is not available to the consumer nor to small business.
