Password Storage

  1. How long have you used it? I always wonder if its free maybe its some fishing scam although I know of many free programs that are great, Linux for one.

  3. Ok, a serious one:

    lastpass.com.

    also stores them highly encrypted on their servers for sync - so I keep the passwords on different computers in sync.

    You can also share them with other accounts, which comes in very handy for example in businesses. Like my secretary able to acces my broker's website.

    I've used it for several yeasrs. It's open source; you can check the source code for "fishing [sic] scam" or any other malware.

    Lastpass.com looks good too.

  5. I have looked at them all.....and if your serious about password management and contact management the best of the best is www.BigContacts.com

    it's cloud based database that is robust and you can use it to manage alot more than passwords.....

    it's also scalable....if you are more than a 1 man band....
