It's true, we have promotions. We're going to have another promotion next month. If the promotion is within reason, why would it call into question whether the business is legitimate or not? Automotive companies have promotions, luxury clothing companies have promotions, airlines have promotions, platform providers have promotions, data feed providers have promotions, brokerages have promotions, restaurants have promotions, plumbers, welders and other service companies discount their pricing. Is it really about the promotion, or do you think it's just ridiculous for our niche segment to offer them?
Nice counter argument. In my opinion it definitely makes sense to do promotions like these. There are a few other companies out there offering almost the same stuff for the same price, so making sure they are cheaper with a discount can attract some business over from the competition who are not offering discounts.
Right, I had the impression your statement was more directed at the nature of the business model then promotions in general. This month alone over 100 retail traders have been funded through our company. You are entitled to your opinion but we don’t think there’s anything ridiculous about that.
Hey ET2 I have a question about helios feed vs data feed. If someone has their own data feed for charting and choose helios feed to execute what is the platform they let you use to execute ? or is a custom web interface somesorts ?
Thanks E2T. Unrelated to this question but related to the main discussion in the thread.... at times like these, the benefits of trading for a prop firm shine. "Oh I'll pull $2000 and go open an AMP account " doesnt work anymore. Currently its 3K margin for a single ES contract with AMP. LOL!
